True. But I don't have 8 units of industrial capacity. I have 4, and they control 2. How precisely can I stomp them -now-? No. I will fully expect betrayal. And plan against its future inevitability. Meantime, accepting their demands buys me time. Time I need.

True, certainly- they had to be appeased.  But if you could have gotten them to go without that point...

You never know, though- maybe a droid will in the future go scientist on you and give you some nice advances.

Now then: Post your turns. ((But let me warn you, if you attempt production of weapons or soldiers that are not Militia, the enemies will most likely attack the smelters and mines.))

One thing makes Colonizer.Net a bit different then other sim games.
You can either, auto resolve battles, take command of the army yourself, or become a hero and fight the enemy with a small squad or just yourself. These all come with perks and benefits and such. Its up to you though.

Spoiler: New Ruling (click to show/hide)

Edit: Fixed Up a few errors, sorry about that. All ships when created are filled up with excess fuel from the last turn. Filling them to full capacity is a free action.

I'll take IRC- I'll be on ~10 PM EST tonight if that's a good time for you (per your post statistics, it is.)

Will resolve this before turn.

The Chancellor knew what needed to be done. He found the representative from the United Droid Front 'inspecting' some critical refinery systems. Three fellow officials of the Ailuren stood behind him, to bear witness to what was going to occur. Each had their part to play in the unfolding drama.

"Ah. Representative. I needed to have words with you."

The droid turned, as the Chancellor floated forwards, intersecting his own energy field with the electrical system of the droid. Circuits popped, hissed, melted. The droid tried to speak but the Chancellor did not care to hear, shoving himself deeper and deeper into the droid's interior, causing absolute devastation. There was a moment, a brief moment of hope as it tried to alert its fellow droids through its relay link. But interference caused the message to be lost.
Before a minute had passed, the deed was done. The representative had suffered a catastrophic failure of every piece of circuitry within its body. The first casualty of a war that never should have been.

"Transmit lockdown codes to the mines and facilities planetside.. Every automated system we have, cleanse it and restore from a Pre-Sentience backup. If no backup exists, cleanse and have task forces mobilize to watch over the system, and create new automation code. Eliminate any renegade devices on the station.

Order production of a war fleet. We will purge this rebellion."

That night, looking back over the days events, the Chancellor thought that the noises the droid made were much like screaming.
------------------
Construct 1x War Fleet(Ailuren Space Station)
Total: 4 IS
Stockpile: 2IS
Scout Fleet to Ailuren III, Scan.

((And also the whole, locking down their facilities that I still have access to, for as long as we can.))

A'ki, Social Leader of the Cr'yan Collective, thought hard. She had just been in contact with Mat'hel, the military lead and was raising up a militia that support the Cr'yan's less violent part of the order. They would not go out and meet the opposition. If they came, they would meet resistance all the way, but now it was her turn to end this, hopefully with no bloodshed.

''Comm's, patch me through to Priest Ko'sol.'' She calmly asked the yan manning the comms.
''He's not responding, A'ki-no.'' He responded.
''Then open channel!''

''To all Cr'yan that may be listening. Priest Ko'sol has indeed, right on certain accounts. Our current expansion HAS been too damaging to mother nature, made a near necessity from businesses being too greedy. However, the violence he extorts is not with our kind, not since the days of Civil Wars of the Cr'yan nearly 100 years ago. I have been in discussions for many months now, with investors and builders, and have recently reached an agreement. We will build all new farms, mines and spaceports around the local ecosystems. We have long used the techniques passed down upon us by our ancestors. This recent shift away was never welcomed at the highest order, and will return to that way of building, no matter the cost. What we have built recently should remain as a symbol of a direction we so nearly took, one down the path of destruction of our planet.''
A'ki paused for a second, preparing for the last statement:
''We hope this calms any discontent. We hope you can see the peaceful path that we all wish to see. Soon, we will be exploring the vastness of space firsthand, an experience we have waited for so long, and an opportunity for expansion. But we will always keep in mind any planet's health, as we always have done. This is your Social Leader, A'ki-no, signing out.''

The message was done. Mat'hel was in the middle of recruiting loyalists and preparing a defense he wished he would never have to use. The response from the Priest would decide whether the Cr'yan Collective enter space exploration with bloodshed, or whether Cr'yan can remain peaceful and united.

(Basic premise. I am suggesting I either pay more Industrial to build Mines, Farms, Smelters and Spaceports, or they take 2 turns to build, both to represent the increased effort it will take to work said buildings into the environment without doing any damage. I wish this to take place regardless of the Priest's response :3 )

I'm'a put in my build orders in a second.

Would you like to speak diplomatically with the Priest?

The Darlat Pirate fleet leaves, perhaps to venture to another civilized sector?

((I noticed, I'll try and get it back up tommorow...and yes everyone will get one of those visits.))

The Grantar public relations minister addressed the nation that night.

"Grantar Union.  We have made contact with another space-faring species today, and engaged in peaceful relations.  There are many other sentient space-faring species out there, and we hope that further contact will likewise be peaceful.

"In the meantime, infrastructure construction will continue, providing a boost in employment in mining, industrial, fleet maintenance, and the government sector, as an Interstellar Relations Bureau is established.

"Be safe, people of the Grantar Union."

Upgrade the scout fleet with +1 FTL Engine (2 ISU) and +1 Fuel Capacity (2 ISU.)  Build the second Mine (1 ISU).  Total of 5 ISU.  3 were traded, for a grand total of 8 ISU.

Additionally, direct the Research Lab to study further refinement of the mineral resources of the planet.  Perhaps we can expand our industrial base further.

React on the information given in diplomacy and set up defensively in 2 waves of 3000. The frontline will be behind heavy cover and as the enemy approach, or if the damage sustained is higher than expected, are told to retreat back to the second line. The second line will be in such a position as to hit the enemy as they come over the barricades, which ought to secure victory. 3000 troops will be held in reserve to aid in a broken defense or to react to anything that the enemy may throw at us differently.

The remaining 1000 troops will aid in the evacuation protocol of the presumed battlefield and will remain with the civilians to guard.
