Name: Sakane Goseki
Age: 72
Gender: Female
Bio: Over more wars than a less agile mind might remember, bringing to an end more lives than a great scholar might recall, and saving more of her clansmen's lives than the greatest hero, Goseki served her 50 years of service unsung and in the dark and now, as custom dictates, she gets to die... in peace, like so few of her brothers and sisters.

Or at least that's what custom used to dictate. But her younger brothers and sisters have all fallen before her and, barren grandmother and living relic, she whose duty prevented her from bearing life for her clan may be the only one left who can give life to it.

The Source... could this be the whispered rumour that some foretold? The only thing left that might be able to reverse the darkness enveloping Goseki and the last of her kind? If only that darkness could be pushed back, if only light could be brought into the mountains of her homeland, perhaps she and her brothers and sisters could live on... could live again?

Since middle age passed into old age, Goseki's body waned, and rather than her strength and speed she began to rely on her wisdom and timeless knowledge of her arts to keep her alive, as well as the reflexes and instincts honed by over half a century of training, practice and action. A venerable legend amongst her dwindling mountain-folk, she hasn't been sent to find the Source to see what became of her younger brothers and sisters who also sought it, but as the last resort: to find it herself; to bring it back, to bring the dawn. She is the living twilight of the Sakane, and will either live to see the sunrise, or will die and herald the night.

When among others, she tends to fulfill the role of a country doctor, full of old wives' cures and herbal folk remedies for nearly every ill. She'd never been the type to flaunt or even merely reveal her true nature, and now in her old age even more so. What could be more ridiculous than an assassin at her age? What could be more pathetic than a woman who should have been a great-grandmother being the last hope for her line? No, she knows to hide and wait, to conceal the machine that's running the same commands as thirty years ago under her wrinkled skin and ample robes, to manipulate and direct others to lift the heavy loads her bended back no longer can.

No, Goseki's just a kindly grandmother whose eyes are beginning to whiten in the corners. Nothing more.

Physical: Goseki measures 1.59m, and looks as frail and age-shrunken as any woman in her seventies might. What's left of her hair is grey, the same as the little that's left of the light in her eyes. Even her skin seems to be taking on a grey and pallid tone. She's dressed in simple, dark grey robes that cover much of her frail appearance, but not her stooped posture.

    Gender: Female
    Bio: You are Mastaya, formerly Mazzy the farmer, you are a newly made angel, as you never strayed from the right path, even during hard times on you're farm. You are sent to cleanse the fortress of blood, and have been allowed to work with those seeking it's power; to a point. The forces of good that know of you're task support you, but the ever-present darkness seeks you're end, even more so than those around you. If you find the source, depending what it is, you will destroy it, or make sure that it enters good hands; as you have no desire for it yourself.  The other people in you're group must be kept under observation until their intentions are clear, and then those of dark intend must be dealt with, before they can claim the source for themselves.
    Physical: Standing  6 feet tall, with obvious-ley strong muscles, Mastaya looks human, except for the pure white wings. Still, something is a little off about her, she is not of the mortal realm, her black hair hovers slightly, as though there was a wind blowing it around. Her clear blue eyes seem to glow, but only in the corner of you're eyes, when you look directly at her; they plain and ordinary eyes. This all comes together as a little unsettling but most unquieting is the determination and conviction visible in her eyes

Name: He calls himself Ochita.
Age: 36
Gender: Male
Bio: Ochita is a scholar, having already traveled around the world, learning new things and experiencing life. He came from 'Inloth' the capital of the country of Verlaine. Apparently during his childhood he was raised by a magician, and left when he was only 19, already exploring the world, and learning new things. He learned of the source, and seeked to discover its secret, with his tutor wanting him to succeed at this task.
Physical: Ochita stands at 5'7 tall, wearing brown robes, intrinsically decorated, with embellishments of teal, it seems to have been with him for some time, as various signs of wear can be seen on it, yet it still seems to be in very good shape. His hair is a walnut brown, being maintained as so it isn't a mess. His eyes are a normal blue, and they show that they have seen many things.
Race: Verlaine human.
Class: Scholar-mage. Ochita has been trained as a mage, learning the ways of twisting and manipulating the ether to cast spells of protection and offence and he has used these teachings to help him explore the world. He carries around a leather bag, which contains among others a couple of books, one being a copy of the collected journals of Toz, the other being his journal, which he keeps his notes in.

Bio: Elves have been known by many throughout history, yet few have claimed to even know one as who they are. Facts spread out as fast as rumors and even the truth becomes twisted by the tongues of the living.

For most, they shun them for what they see them as: outsiders, strangers, queer-folk, monsters... Even those who claim to have been in contact with them have little to prove their word. It was just like listening to ghost stories told for children to scare them to sleep, or tales told by bards for a free drink or an audience.

A ghost is just what our fellow might be.

Born amongst his kind in the tranquil glades untouched by the hands of men for decades, he was raised and educated by those who wandered the land in the guise of mortals. The stories they told of the outer lands piqued his interest: tales of cities stretching towards the heavens, built of material harder than stone yet lighter than a feather; tales of vast armies that clashed against each other in the name of good and evil. Of the dreams and desires of the little man, dwarfed by his brethren in their cause, all different yet all alike in the same. Of how the world was slowly drifting into the final slumber due to the ever-growing needs of its inhabitants. And lastly, of the Source.

Only when he reached the coming of age (which was long compared to humans as they lived in a place not known to man and unsullied by their problems) did he learn of the Source. An elder returning from one of the human cities was joyfully expressing its story by word and song. Its reputation and mystique brought about something in him -- passion or greed, he did not know. What he (and all the others around) him did know was that it held the power to turn the tide of time itself, to sway even the choices of the gods. The only way to claim it was to abandon his home and turn his fate to the hand of Life itself.

And that was what he did. In joining the ranks of the Sylvan Rangers, he had the chance to learn more about this strange entity, if it were to be called so. His years in the wilderness and amongst humans and other folk have taught him valuable lessons needed for his quest as well as common sense, a treasure many often overlook. Going by the alias of Fel, he enjoyed his stay in the outer lands, amongst beings not of his kind. But his presence left tracks, even if his reputation as a whole could protect him from the mundane, it could also attract those who cherished a rare trophy to call their own, one that they could boast about for years -- mostly adventurers, bounty hunters, nobles, drunks and wizards and the like. The only thing he believed was on his side, was his own mind, body and spirit, for they have been true and loyal allies throughout his life. On occasion, even the most unexpected of creatures gave him aid in tough times, and he thanked the goddess for watching over him.

For whatever reasons he has if he will gain the power of the Source is only his to know, but in spite of it all, the world must remain in balance.

Physical: Lithe of body and curious in mind, Feleris dons a dark-green cloak similar to the type Rangers use in their daily lives, made to withstand harsh weather and even physical damage with a black trim along the edges. His skin is colored light brown, his eyes an even darker shade. Blackish hair falls until shoulder length as his hood is pulled down, revealing a young face roughly shaped as a V, not bearing the marks of an experienced being but a youngster in his prime. He stands at about 5 and a half feet tall.

Other than the seemingly weak leather tunic (made for agility and mobility, stealth and evasion) and other accessories, strapped to his belt are a couple of long daggers, used as an everyday tool or as a primary fighting weapon, a distraction for those too curious maybe? He wields a longbow bearing no mark in his right hand and a matching quiver hanging by his side.

Name: Rhogar Steelscale
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Bio: Rhogar Steelscale is of the Brightflash clan, all of which are descended from blue dragons of some kind or another, from the far eastern lands and mountains. He is of a calm and rational kind of person, with the stubborn persistance and dedication that is typical of dragonborn, but is certainly not above violence and brutality, which is also typical of dragonborn and also those of his religion. He is a mighty warrior, a dedicated cleric to his god, and while he enjoys the feeling of power his body provides him with, he is also quite intelligent and logical.

Unfortunately for Rhogar, he is a forced exile of a sort from his clan, as his clan was almost completely wiped out by the orc tribes that infest the mountains that his clan lived in on a massive raid. Rhogar only survived because he was on a pilgrimage at the time to the north, seeking to join the warrior priests of the Storm god, Kron, for both honor for his clan and personal choice. Arriving home to see that almost all he knew was completely wiped out, he swore vengance against orc kind and dedicated his life to restoring the honor of his slain clan with blood and glory.

After wandering the mountains for roughly two years, he realised that even he could not wipe out the orcs alone. With the last of his money, he bought passage on a ship to the west and decided to see if he could find more help there. As of late, he has been doing the odd job around a few cities, and has put his more priestly training to good use in both caring for the sick and unwell, as well as mashing the head of the odd goblin with his large warhammer.

Physical: His build is humanoid in shape, two arms, two legs and a head, but other than that, thats where the simularities usually end for a dragonborn, Rhogar included. Rhogar stands at a mighty 6 foot 7 inches, with the typical bulky build of a warrior caste dragonborn and has scales that cover his entire body, a soft dark blue in colour, and has deep set sky blue eyes. Rhogar's head has turned back ears with a few small bone spikes on the lower edge, and his snout is blunt and slightly shorter than usual with a few spikes lining the bottom of his jawline. A few spike like horns jut out from the back of his head and fan slightly outwards, with a large space in the middle of the back of his neck, though these horns arent that many, mostly just large. His feet are large and clawed, to provide stability and traction, and he has somewhat sharp claws on the end of his fingers, though he uses these rarely and tends to file them back a bit so they don't get in the way/catch on things. He has no tail or wings whatsoever, despite some older dragonborn having them, but doesn't seem all that worried about it.

He wears the typical plate mail of warrior clerics, which is of good quality and condition as he takes care of it regularly, and this covers his entire body, with the usual mail and padding underneath for cushioning. He also wears a hooded cloak when traveling, but only puts the hood up when needed so to not obstruct his vision/catch on his horns, and this is of a dark brown leather. He also has a leather pack that carries his food and gear, a waterskin on a strap, his holy symbol around his neck on a strong steel chain thats long enough for him to take it off freely and quickly (This symbol is in the shape of a circle on the end of a small bar, with four lightening bolts emerging from the empty center to hit the edges in the form of a cross) and has a large shield and, of course, his large warhammer which is double headed on one end, allowing him to swing back and forth freely.

Class: STORMLORD! (Think of a warrior cleric that invokes the wrath and aid of his god to smite his foes and assist him in battle.)

Bio: Teal was always a bit of a loner. Ignoring the responsibilities of her family trade - clothes-making - Teal took up sorcery as a way to escape society. She hid in an abandoned tower for months, studying and practicing.

Once she heard of the grand treasures in the Fortress of Blood, she knew that she had to make them her own. So, for the first time in months, she ventured out to find a bunch of rowdy misfits to protect her as she went behind their backs and gathered the ultimate reward for herself.

She had no idea what she was getting into.

Physical: Teal was named such due to the pigmentation in her eyes and hair. She's just under five feet tall, slender due to her scarce resources during her time living alone as a sorcerer.

Whose death? They do not say.

"Do you have any last requests, then?"

They wait for you to speak. They're willing to wait forever. And a little longer.
