I changed some actions to lower my DCs a bit. Hoping for a natural 20 might get me killed one of these times.

All right. Was a bit unclear they were nomadic, but reading over I got it now.

"Excellent! This game is quite simple you see, created by the mortals in my first and last world I saw over." He then continues to explain the rules to Empathica, and once that was done he started the game.

((Changing Divine Action to Playing a Game with Empathica, and if loosing creating the seventh layer of hell.

For the Goddess of Emotions, Empathica seems to have a hard time hiding hers.

She laughs, asking Risth to explain something to her again.

"So, bluffing isn't the same as cheating? There's more to it than just luck? Well, it's a shame I'm such a bad liar, then."

Risth-if he's perceptive enough-might just catch the barest flicker of amusement in Empathicas lovely green eyes after saying that...but it's just a glimmer-intentional? Unintentional? Or a clever misdirection? None? All?

Either way, it was only directed at him.

"No, it isn't exactly cheating. It's a rather useful skill though, inside and outside the game. I'm sure you'll do just fine at it, us gods do have a tendency to lie somewhat often after all."

Mini Turn:

Azundan Kernagroth + Dagmach

The two of you travel down to the bowls of the earth where the chest is hidden. The fact it is made of slade is troublesome. Slade cannot be destroyed or warped by divine beings. Luckily you find the chest unlocked and lifting off the lid is a simple task for the two of you in tandem. Looking inside you see a humanoid female naked and in the fetal position. She has olive/brownish skin, a pair of horns jutting from her head, and a forked tail. She looks up at the pair of you, rises to her feet, and speaks.

"Who is responsible for releasing me?"

Risth + Empathica:

You sit down and begin to play. Risth quickly finds that luck is on his side moreso than usual. You are dealt three straight royal flushes and quickly mop the floor with Empathica. Risth feels that the game has triggered a bloom of particularly good luck, and that he can easily focus it wherever he chooses.

Risth can give a +3 bonus to any roll made by any character this turn! Congrats on the natural 20!

I have locked in the actions of everybody except Azundan. No changing your actions now. I'm going to a party tonight, but if I find time I may get the turn up.

(I give myself a +3 roll to my manipulation turn.)

"Ah too bad, but you played well. You are playing against the god of Gambling after all."

Oh. Roleplay mode is in effect for the creature in the chest. Noticed Dagmach and Azundan's players have been online but didn't respond.

-Terraform Phase: Make the mountains larger.

-Exploration Phase: Look through the dwarves for any notable people.

-Manipulation Phase: Bless a dwarf with my power
-Manipulation Phase: Manipulate the dwarves to start digging for metal.

-Divine Phase: Join minds with Dagmach to fight the creature if need be.

OOC:

I'm fairly certain you already opened the chest, which happened to contain a nude female with horns and a tail. You should probably answer her question, or something.

Empathica doesn't seem to mind. Her face only betrays a mild confusion, feigned or no.

"A well played game is it's own prize-and we're getting to know each other a little more intimately now, aren't we?

We should do this again some time-I do enjoy your company, Risth. Very much so."

She winked at him coquettishly, stood up and and galloped off. She decided Hell would be cold this time. Lots of Ice!

"I be Azundan of the Golden Dwarves. Who be ye?"

The creature gazes at you and cocks her head. "I am the succubus Liam. I was sealed away because I exist to spread chaos and discord."

She hops out of the chest and looks you over. "Since you were kind enough to let me out, I'll let you pick which mortals I antagonize."

((I considered a "It was my companion here" action, but it felt kind of superfluous so I decided to just let him say it.))

"An interesting offer. Tell me, Liam, what sort of chaos and discord do you spread?"

Liam produces a cigar from hammerspace and lights it with a snap of her fingers. "The subtle sort. I turn a mortal's greatest strength, his ability and desire to reproduce, into weakness. I tear apart families, break the hearts and spirits of the optimistic, and bring down empires with desire alone."

She takes a deep puff of the cigar an laughs deeply. "Lets just say I both enjoy and excel at my job."
