Syndrome-induced insanity? (SPOILERS)
« on: December 13, 2011, 09:30:16 pm »

I had a handful of dwarfs in the hospital with "demon rot," who were not healing even over years. Then suddenly, they all start going berserk (within a week of each other).  The hospital is now full of berserk, rotting dwarfs. Can insanity be caused by a syndrome?

No (at least not until next version ;)). What can happen though is that the constant miasma from their rotting bodies slowly drove all of them insane due to unhappy thoughts without good ones to balance them out.

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!
Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead - A fun zombie survival rougelike that I'm dev-ing for.
