You retroactively increase all of your stats to the appropriate levels. You somehow feel a little cheated that your DEX bonus did not go up, but rules are rules! You then SCAN the area using EYEBROW INFRARED for less suspicious armor, but fine nothing of note. You do get a clear look at the whole place, though:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The east and west doors are now debating on which of them is the more wooden. They are clearly competing for your attention. You could also go back north and try one of the other paths.

Axe the doors whose more wooden. The one that doesn't break as much is the winner, as they are made of better wood.

Grab all the loot you can then open the closest door to you.

You pick up the heroic armor, but do not wear it. You did not trigger any traps, and it did not blow up upon touching it, but it is still somewhat suspicious. You will question it later. Under the light of a lamp. Possibly with DARVI, who you will bribe into finishing all sentencing with an intimidating, nasally "say?"

You axe each door which is more wooden. The western one is clearly more wooden, as the more wooden one would break faster under the force of an AXE. The other one must be partially iron, because you recoiled back upon axing it the same question.

You head through the western door. You see two EELIES guarding a narrow passage that leads to a cube-like object that you suspect might have to do with LUTEFISK.

Find another cube and put it into the one you just found.

Hey, somebody has to do the stupid suggestions.

You offer the nearest EELY your Lutefisk. It eats it happily. That's one plan down the drain.

You axe the EELY if it enjoyed the Lutefisk. It responds in the affirmative, but also takes 4 damage. Then it pulls its neck back and lashes out at you, dealing 7 damage. Wow, these things hit hard. The other one comes over near you and also prepares to attack. You have no idea how much damage an EELY is able to take.

You remember to add your armor to your ACTIVE INVENTORY. You also put it on. You feel heroic now! Which is to say that you feel like smashing pots and stomping on mushrooms. Because those are the kinds of things heroes spend most of their free time doing.

You axe one of the the EELIES why it hates you. It responds by saying it doesn't hate you, it just three damage. The EELY looks nearly dead. And by looks dead you mean it looks normal, but your STATOVISION reveals it to have two HP left.

The EELY nearest to you chomps for 5 damage. The EELY beside it is not able to reach you due to being unable to make diagonal attacks, and instead tells the other EELY that it still doesn't forgive him for cheating on him with that LUNGFISH. The EELY near you tells him to drop it, because it was five years ago, alright!?
