Has anyone encountered goblin prisoners in human forts?

I asked said gobbo to join me, and now i have a goblin companion.

you'd have better luck with the adventure mode forums.  But yes I have, it happens when the humans turn to slavery.  Maybe their leader is a demon, or you should kill him anyway :)

are you certain? at night i am followed by a little red " in the dark, separate from the @ that tells me where i last saw her, iirc
i could be confusing her with another companion though

robust is right, goblins have the following in their raws:

Code: [Select]
[GLOWTILE:'"'][GLOWCOLOR:4:0:1]
which means they'll show up as " when within your field of vision but in the dark. Kobolds have it too, but yellow.
