You take over the steamed troll. Its like a puppet! If puppets were made of meat. And corpses. And steamed corpses of meat. And trolls.

Its the most disgusting and delicious puppet you have ever been in. You claw yourself two eyeholes and look outside. It appears that you are in a part of the crypt that is bordering a cave. You are in a large empty hall. You dont see any doors out except for a tunnel going somewhere from the ceiling. The only way out is a cave entrance lined with omnious spikes. You presume they would be more omnious if they were covered in blood, but where are you gonna find decent amounts of blood in a crypt? This place doesnt get that many adventurers ya know.

There is also a more omnious cloud of birds coming out of the ceiling. Truly omnious.

• What Is This I Dont Even: You have the ability to control the body of something you have killed when you are inside them. Naturally this only works on things that are larger than you or things that are extremely stretchy. For practical purposes it gives you extra health and the hosts physical abilities for the period of time when you are inside something.

I say we pilot the steamed troll puppet towards the ominous clouds of birds. With any luck, we can find out where those birds came from, and sacrifice our cultists to them use them to get our cultists "magic" followers onto the surface to propagate the love

This is the first time I quote a post in an update, and I would like to take the opportunity to say: What?

You stare at the birds that are overhead for a few seconds. The flock spins around the room. Until one of them flies against a wall and turns to ashes.

Then they all swoop down towards you with a cackling noise, revealing them to be zombie phoenixes.

When a phoenix dies, it turns into ashes, and in the presence of fire is reborn. The ashes however, remain. Should someone decide to revive the ashes, they get a zombie phoenix, which has none of the powers of the phoenix. It doesnt even look like a phoenix. If you ask it what it is, it simply states that it is not a phoenix. In fact it would get very angry that someone might even imply that it is a phoenix, as it is decidedly not. Everyone calls them phoenixes though, just to piss them off.

All zombie phoenixes only have a single hp, and when they get hurt, they turn back into ashes. This makes them completely harmless, except for the occasional event where they group up and decide to attack a single person, burying them in ashes. But those are such rare events that it would be silly to even presume something like that might happen to you.

Except that is exactly what is happening.

Its actually pretty awesome to watch them all burst into flames in a chain-reaction. You take a few moment to appreciate the fiery display, as ash slowly falls. Its like New Years Eve, if instead of snow you had phoenix ashes. And if the fireworks were actually birds on fire, feeding the flames by flapping their wings and being ludicrously flammable.

Wait...oh shit, phoenix ashes in a fiery inferno.

Q:How is babby formed?
A: Mommy and daddy go into an exploding volcano. Actually...phoenixes dont have a gender, so you only have a...mommy? Anyway, she flies into an exploding volcano and...well thats actually all there is to it. Just a bird flying into a volcano. Its really nothing special. Well, except it isnt really actually correct to say that the phoenix flies into an exploding volcano, as the volcano was not exploding at the point in time where the phoenix was about to fly into it, but was after she had flown into it. Makes one wonder whetever theres a connection.

In any case, the inferno is looking exceptionally bird like. You attempt to put it out with your water gun, but the water is instantly evaporated and simply makes the air slightly more humid.

And then the inferno concentrates into a small egg, that drops onto the ground. It is orange, with red fiery veins going around it. It rumbles quite loudly, and is shaking so much that it looks blurry.

You then look for another way out. Sadly you find none. The egg rumbling is starting to have an effect on your ears.
