You can be whoever you want, do whatever you want. This is not a serious rpg. The only rules are the roll of the dice + your skills/attributes.
I will randomly roll social status upon register at the station, picking king would just be too easy
The rest of stats will also be random, what you do from there is your choice!
Nothing will be easy however, if you want to survey the planet, you either need to attempt to hire someone or buy a ship equipped with survey scanners and hopefully know how to use them/fly the ship.
*The planet was randomly generated, more can be created if need be, more info on the planet can also be found if explored etc etc.
Some Ideas for start:
*You cannot join the Army or Navy or Marines or any other government force, as the government has no presence here. You can join the police or pirates or similar things.
You can study things(try), you can become a nomad, you can attempt to leave the station and study or enlist elsewhere. The key is what I said in the beginning YOU CAN DO ANYTHING, if the die roll allows it; augmented by your skills.
Basicly, you can say I WANT TO DO THIS, and I will tell you how hard it would be, how long it would take roughly and what skills you may need to use/acquire first.
There is no goal. You do not get points for rank or social status or collecting moneys. You do get
brownie points for awesome trolling/actions which can be redeemed to save yourself a horrible death in an accident or boost your chances for promotion or the like. (1 brownie point = 1 +1 modifier in a non combat roll)
**I will provide 2 sets of starting attributes to pick one from.
***You cannot change my decisions/rolls, I will endeavor to be
fair in all cases. You do not get to revive yourself but you can start again after a little 'cool off) time to prevent suicidal trolling
****You dont need to be an expert at rpgs, actions dont need to be verbose. All welcome!
Time will pass as necessary, people on long studies abroad or services may have few actions to do until their training is complete(varies greatly). If everyone is doing long term things, I will 'fast forward' time abit. I expect this to happen fairly often, at least at the beginning. Else consider 1 real life day, 1 in game day. It's a rule of thumb so you know roughly what you can do in a daily turn. I will backdate extra 'time' if I don't update for a few days. I.E. player one does something that takes 3 days, i update 3 days later and note he has finished. Certain actions may be pushed forward however if necessary.
If you want to do an action secretly, just pm me them instead of posting them.
Random events:
I will do these randomly when the randomness comes to my mind
