« on: December 12, 2011, 03:45:44 am »

So I got one of these:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Now I'm confused, what exactly is a monitor, a monitor lizard? I thought to myself, but no, it has a stinger, thoughts?
P.S I haven't uploaded pictures before so bear with me.

Does the game randomly add body parts to go with its "bewares"?
Anyway, what would this monitor be?

The Forgotten Beast Samsung Syncmaster 152v has arrived! A huge glowing rectangle made of plastic. Beware it's addictive colour patterns!

A forgotten beast can be a giant T-Rex and still have a stinger, its just an randomised extra feature.

Not really angry, the two Savannah monitors I've owned have been like every other carnivorous reptile I've cared for, slightly less lazy than herbivores, but still far more concerned with getting into the utility closet than fighting. To be fair though, my first did give me 43 stitches...

Dammit beat me to it.

Ah well, monitor lizards use their tails like whips, and if this beasty uses its tail like a monitor lizard, that means it's a walking dragon-jedi.

Yeah, I've seen them, The fact that they left the word lizard out is what confused me most.

Sometimes Toady does these things for a reason. Take crundles for example...

And here I was thinking it was more like this:

The forgotten beast Poindexter Plaidpants the monitor has risen! Beware his demands for hall passes and his greasy secretions!
