well, i checked Blockade Runner a little, and finnaly brought it. I'm interested in the planned features of the game. For now its nothing more than some little ship-building and piloting with plasma weapons and thats it, but they plan to add living crews, life-support etc.
That picked my attention.

I may be on this for a while, so this topic's off the scene for now.

I'm going to echo the sentiment on Universal Combat.  Any game by Derek Smart (Derek Smart Derek Smart) is not a game you want to play.  The Battlecruiser series (Of which universal combat is a part) is basically the worst set of games you can possibly play.
