Wait.. we don't choose our own class, but it's determined by color?
Hmm..

Anyhow, I would vote for Black.

Vote? There is no vote. Imma remove that portion of the OP, as the setting is already decided.

Bumping doesn't make me write my games any faster. Turn is already half done but the Pokestats are like 75%.

Hmm.. what primary color should I choose.. I really hope it won't get my character a class I don't want..

Nevermind, I just chose one and hope for the best.. ..or that it won't suck.

Turn 2

Edward awaited their responses. He didn't actually care what age they were, though - he just snuck that question in to throw them off.

Wymar stepped up first. "I'm a damn son of a gun and I'm old enough to carry a handgun. The one Pokemon left with me was Skarmory, thanks to your goons. You got a problem with any of that?" Wymar stretched his back as he spoke, confident in his words. This surprised Edward even more, as he had thought Wymar was another one of the classic Psyche member types: a rebellious trainer brat gone bad.

Miss Hooloovoo tapped her foot hard on the ground before she spoke. "I'm one of the most famous personalities in Ebony City! Why, my breeding is top notch. I won't tell you my age - nope, not once - but I will tell you that the only Pokemon your crooks left with me is my beloved Abra!" Edward chuckled. An Abra? What could an Abra do? Teleport her enemies away?

Edwarf cocked his head. "If you stole that outfit, evaded my guards and walked in here yourself, how did they get the rest of your Pokemon?"

The question startled Hoovooloo. "Oh, uh, you know... I just dropped them off where I saw the other balls were being stored!" The reality of it was that Hoovooloo was not a famous Ebony City personality, nor was she an experienced Pokemon breeder. In fact, she was something of an anomaly. But she wasn't going to tell anyone else that. Edward nodded, accepting her answer as a tribute to her finesse.

"I'm an infiltration specialist," said Jean-Luc before Edward stopped her.

"Sort of like the other girl, hm?" Edward clearly was trying to throw off her guard.

"Y-yes, but nothing of that calibur. I've been known to slip in and out of places without setting off any alarms." Jean-Luc put her hands behind her back. "Like, this one time I took Pokemon from one of the Centers..."

Wymar shot her a look of warning. She stopped there. There was no need to give their new boss the impression she was some master thief when all she had was a knack for it. Hopefully he wouldn't expect too much of them. They were green, after all.

"And my remaining Pokemon is a female Nidoran," she finished.

Resputan walked forward. "I'm Resputan, and I love me a good barbeque... or house fire... or city-wide arson..." The others shifted away from him slowly. He was clearly a madman. Perfect for the job in some ways, yet horrible for it in others. Were they to be assigned together, the other three would have to keep him in check, as he was the most likely to slit their throats in a moment of weakness.

"Excellent, excellent... I believe you all will make a perfect team." Edward sat down once more. "Now, it is customary in Team Psyche to welcome you by giving you an introductory mission. It will be difficult, but not life-threatening. At worst, a ten year prison sentence if you're caught."

Ten year prison sentence. The words echoed in the new recruits' heads. Clearly, this was a bigger mission than Edward was making it out to be.

"The Ebony City Pokemon League, as you may know, is currently hosting the first round of its prelimenary matches. The more experienced trainers - the ones that have competed before - are exempt from the prelimenary matches." Edward leaned forward, clasping his hands together under his chin. "One of them - Jake Goodman - has in his grimy little paws an incredibly rare Pokemon, known to this land as Aerodactyl."

Wymar could already see where this was going.

"For the next six hours," continued Edward. "that Aerodactyl will be stored in a high-security freezer, inaccessible to all except the Pokemon League technicians, who enter through a back entrance. I want you to find that back entrance, steal the Aerodactyl and get it back to me before anyone has noticed. Do you understand?"

You know, somehow I don't think this is going to be even a quarter as fun to run as the other YAIA games. If you guys really want to continue or are interested that's fine, but otherwise I may just drop it like the always-present half my games that would end up becoming far too much trouble.

I like the fact that this is multi-character, but I'm not sure if I like the setting just yet. This might be interesting, but it just isn't far enough for me to say. If you wanted to resurrect the other game I wouldn't say no since this is so early in the game.

I'm not sure if I like it either. Having a list of settings and basing them on player vote (blind vote, at this) was an experimental thing. I know that no matter what I do to this game I'll always enjoy the hilarity-based ones more.

It's better to have one detailed theme and build off the one setting rather than have multiple undetailed themes and settings. I've seen many games with identity crises to know that this doesn't always work. It also gets the players more into the theme during character creation when you have the theme posted in the OP.
