And so we start!
---------------------
It's the year
1600, and the
British East India Company, just like the other Companies, has just started. The Crown has given us a
hundred and fifty thousand pounds, and has granted us a free
Cutter, to start business quickly. It's name shall be
Saint Urist.
They also advise us to build more ships, therefore we order three Schooners made. Although our wealth is now half of what it was before, those ships will prove useful.
We now head to the Trading post and buy 16 kilos of silverware and 10 tons of tobacco. We load them on the
Saint Urist, and we send it to Jadida, a north-Africa port. Later we will send ships to India, but for now it will provide us with some money.
We also buy some useful iron wares and put them on our London warehouse for later use.
The crown gives us a warning after we send the
Saint Urist to Jadida: If no ship of ours reaches India in three years, they will shut our company down.
----------------------
I feel like this was too short... Next turn will last one year, so you should think names for our three Schooners. I plan on sending them to India after they're built, but we could also send the Cutter to satisfy the Crown. Any other ideas?
Also, as I stated in my last post, I dislike the naval battles. So I don't do them. So I'm terribly bad at them. Really. I could lose a battle against a duck (If those were in the game) with ten battleships under my command. Therefore, I'll do the naval battles automatically. Sorry.
