Also cast a magic missile at it while doing those other things too!

You attempt to summon the Giant Lungfish of Eek. Similarly to your earlier spell it fails horribly and you die a horrible death in the hands of a dire rat.

Actually you are level 2 and have 2 relevant traits, yeah, you can have this one. You summon the dreaded lungfish, and it falls directly on the biiiiiiig spider. The spider is crushed instantly and you gain 15 XP for the kill.

Now you have a different problem. The Giant Lungfish of Eek looks rather angry at being summoned to a place where there is no water. It slowly moves toward you, and you decide to fire a magic missile at it. The magic missile hits it directly in the eye. The lungfish lets out a scream of pain, which is very odd considering that it is in fact, a fish.

You then decide to attempt to charm it with your 3 remaining mana. It works...kinda. Half the fish now likes you, and the other doesnt. The fish is now spinning in circles as one side of it attempts to crawl towards you.

What to you do? You would ask the really big spider for help, but it is kinda busy being dead.

Wait for the fish to tire, then go open the chest and look at the cristal ball.

You choose to ignore the fish and look at all the loot in that chest. You carefully go around the fish while it keeps spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning and spinning...

You finally manage to turn your eyes away from the perpetually spinning fish and go open the chest. You open the chest. Oh what wonders it could hold, magical treasure, a sweet top hat, something to eat...

The chest contains:
  • Some decent clothes
  • A sharpened pecil
  • A blank emptiness that corresponds very well with the contents of your skull. The hat I mean, your head is filled with liquid, or possibly a brick.
In your dissapointment you try to scry with the orb. You didnt actually need to do anything, because it already showed an image.

You see someone who looks like a complete prick. She is wearing robes and fighting with a skeleton. She is so bad. You bet she even has a name, unlike a true protagonist like yourself. In addition to the earlier bet, you are certain she only has a quarter your health and only a third of you magical power. Who does she think he is, wearing proper clothes and an actual dagger instead of ribs. You got your hat and weaponry fair and square and then she comes along with her fancy stuff.

You then spend so much time swearing to yourself that all your mana has regenerated and the fish has died. Yay?

For that kill you gain 10 XP.

What do you do?

Examine the Giant lunchfish of EEK. Put the orb in the chest and take it with you.

Take the BLANK EMPTINESS and put it in your skull-hat for an extra-empty hat.
