I believe that a dwarf is the product of his culture. which is to say, the Mountainhome makes the dwarf. If not for the legendary dining hall, with masterpiece roasts of everything from panda liver to giant mole sweetbread, the endless drunken parties, the harsh justice of the Hammer- without these we do not have Dwarves. without these we get Goblins. also Goblinite, which is proof of industry by the goblins to mine, smelt, and craft metal, to domesticate creatures and shave trolls for their hair, to learn the arts of War.

the dwarf is the master of the riddle of Steel, where others use only iron. the dwarf is the mechanic, the siege engineer, the Martial Trance. the dwarf is defined by the culture and science which separates him from the goblins.
