((Well. That's not fun. I'm out. Azthor, next time, I won't do fair play,  and I'll have your ass killed as soon as I have the last sign of plotting. Enjoy your game of not opponents. :/

Though I want to see how you'll manage leading convincing barbarians that conquered most of the world that I was a bad man. They're my guys, and I'll be disappointed if you don't have to deal with at least a bit of a civil war. But I guess I'm dissapointed enough already that it doesn't matter.))

((The very point of which you could have had me killed at any moment illustrates why I'd have to resort to assassination. There is nothing of fair or competitive in our play when you have just about every single advantage at your disposal, which'd become even more evident once you became the Patriarch. I could have sent an assassin without any early signs of treachery, but that'd feel too gamey even for me.

I'd also like to remind you that all of the barbarians regiments you refer to are dead. If you fault Ghaz you are just being sore, asssassins are a legitimate mechanic you failed to defend against, even though the possibility was well foreshadowed by Lord Raventree's death. Even then, the rolls were stacked in your favor due to Ghaz making PC assassinations harder))

Winter 103AE: Curse my Name

The end of the Coalition Wars reduced the thin bloodline of Nova even more. Where other Houses had members by the dozens, Nova was at this point ruled effectively completely alone by Azthor Nova. Especially his Appointment Speech will be remembered for the lies he put up in front of Hundreds of Thousands of Soldiers for a blatant power grab. It turned out [4] they swallowed the lies without any complaint. At this point Si'kar was preparing for a Cold Day in Hell.
-Eremus Bull, Treatise on the Coalition Wars

Galactic News

[6] News from Lightbringer, the Enemy Fleet has turned out to be a Wreckan Migration, the largest in Galactic History. The Wreckan, a Nomadic People are humans who tend to large herds of Bherin, are known for their Migration Fleets who in search for Gas Clouds and Giants oftne wreck entire fleets. Their Main Livelihood are Bherin a kind of octopii immune to vacuume feeding on vast gas and dust clouds and through an ingenious process of fusion producing wastes which form an atmosphere on the sometimes huge(read sizes of several kilometers) beings. Bherin seemingly don't die of old age and only ever grow the older they get. Over the thousands of years whole biomes form on these beings, from simple fungi to fully grown predator-prey biospheres on the oldest of these beings. The Wreckan use the wastes of the Bherin as fuel and the beings that life on them for food clothing and even farm on these giants. More interestingly Bherin seem to naturally being able to FTL-Travel similiar to the now unusable Interphase-Drives. The Wreckan somehow manage to control this migration process and where the Bherin leaves the Warp allowing them to form larger herds.

Anyway, it seems that this Particular Migration has simply eradicated the entire first Church Fleet hinting at ridiculous fleet sizes.  Now discussion goes back and forth whether such a large Bherin Herd could sustain itself.

On another note: Without any active meddling of anybody into the voting Process and with an Vote of 6 to 4 Toremund Barg has been voted in as the new Archon of Garthon I. He is known as an Orthodoxy Hardliner but also a Xenophile.

House Nova

The Conquering of the Three Minor Noble Houses has brought House Nova:
3 Fortress Cities
1 Spaceport
64 Parcels Farmlands
4 Regiments Power-Armoured Soldiers

An almost forgotten line in House Nova has returned to the Court. Late Rigos Brother, now a urchin after his parents death has been sent to Azthor Nova, being one of the last remaining members of the family. Raith brings with him the meager remaining wealth of his family: a Personal Power Armour Regiment and 10 Credits.

But he is not the only one returning into the embrace of Nova, Jarod Nova, Grandson of Azthor Nova also returns, with him a Corvette and also 10 Credits.

All in all the House made an upwards leap.

Approach Patriarch Azthor and drop to one knee bowing respectfully.

"Good day to you my lord, I am Raith Nova your new ward, I and my guard regiment are at your command."

[3] you try to get up but only manage to waggle your head and mouth something incomprehensible, sounding like your mouth is full. A nearby House Guard begins chuckling but thanks to the helmets these guys wear he stays anonymous.

((then stop bolding the actions, everything bolded will be rolled for))

[6] You back away from Lord Azthor and try to do a perfect bow but bump with your head to the ground...hard. When you wake up again the throne room is empty and you notice it is evening.

The Patriarch agrees to receive you ward in the Throne Room the day after, though from what the guard tells you, he is still slightly disturbed from your earlier feat of clumsiness.

Check with my Triumvirat contacts for high-end research apparatus.

In the orbit of Si'kar, a ship started attempting to contact the planet's sole spaceport. It was a Dray class Corvette, and although it seemed in a fairly good state, its movement was quite erratic as it approached the atmosphere and started broadcasting messages... Using old imperial codes.

Dray class Corvette Fire Walker requesting landing in Sicaris Spaceport. I repeat, Dray class Corvette Fire Walker requesting landing in Sicaris Spaceport. I repeat...

And on and on the messages went. Of course, there was no one to hear - either because most communications apparel weren't designed to get those kinds of messages, or because the codes the ship was using had not been heard in the system for nearly a hundred years.

The fact that a very small team indeed crewed the ship and that the nearest thing it had to a commanding officer was an engineer specializing in starship construction (amongst many things) did not help. Eventually, as the ship continued to descend and the crew continued to hear only silence in reply to their messages, the aforementioned commander had to improvise.

Attempt to find infrastructure capable of supporting a landing. If that's impossible, land in some flat place.

Overlooking the room from atop the throne, the Pastriarch gestures for Raith to stand up.

"That was unexpected yes, but let's leave it where it belongs, the past. I take it you are Drenden's boy?"

Stand up.
"Yes my lord, sadly he is dead and I find myself on a planet I don't know because you appear to be the only family I have left."
