Delvos

[2]Your men immediately begin to cut and burn down the forest surrounding the camp with meagre success. It is already autumn and the constant rain and fod make it hard for your men to light fires, yet alone burn whole swathes into the forest. Instead of burning off the forest whole casks of blackpowder are useless to the wet weather...

(( Lol nice work Azthor. I'd suggest you guys attack lol at this rate by the time you order the attack you wont even have an army :D. ))

Finish the tunnel so it comes out behind the enemies siege camp. Also add side tunnels that end less then 1 meter from opening up the trench line of the militia far to my left and right.
Also have my officers bring me a full report on our current food supply.

Inquire if any of the crew/ the others can't decipher the Alien language. If not, continue towards planet I. Carefully. We can't stand up to a large colony, so we'll just leave them alone for the moment.

I'll be a noble. This looks pretty cool. Would you mind PMing me regarding it, filling me in on stuff. I'll try to pick over the thread so far to fully understand my role.

(( But they want the space port intact. If they bombard it from orbit and destroy it then the whole reason for the attack is gone anyway, Besides I'll hand the bloody front line to them on a platter if I have to lol I wanna get this battle rolling before they run out of men to fight it. ))

Delvos fares with his hand in his long hair, because this crusade is already tedious and costly. He hopes that the Archon is as least thankful for the work. Probably not.
"Forget the powder! Just cut down those damned trees and make... whatever with it! Make a walkable palisade!"

Still proceed with the clear ring around the camp, now only with axes then. Still workers are guarded. Pile the logs for later use.

The war camp was messaged about the brass coming down to the surface. Shortly afterwards, shuttles came from Aurora, bearing the architect and principal maestro of the entire operation.

Archon Luthias Hartwig stepped out of the vehicle, surrounded by men in gleaming ceramite armor and wielding large rifles and guns. He himself was wearing a richly made and beautiful suit of armor, blue and silver metal decorated with golden cherubs, flames and faces of saints. With a power blade at his side, he marched forward, with a swarm of servants and officers following him though the camp.

"Well, my children , are we ready to being the campaign? I see that some of us already took to the killing of the Xenos. That is good. I want to see all commanding officers and mercenary captains here. I shall issue orders and rites."

"Sir, the Archon finally landed and want your presence."
"Oh, really? Great."

To the Archon!

"Uuuhhh... Okay."
What a magnificient plan... Except they just bomb good land. But what is he to decide? It's not his crusade after all.
"As you wish, my master. I'm just a mere blade for your hand after all." He bows before the Archon.
"But, forgive this bold request, I want my pay. 5 Credits."

"Excellent. Happy to make business with you, my master."

Send back a recruiter with the next supply frigate to recruit 1 regiment of green boys and horses for one regiment.
Also, purchase NBC-Equipment for all four regiments.
And some donuts would be fine too.

Luthias spoke up with anticipation in his voice. The vox master turned his equipment on, ready to radio the orders.

"Well gentlemen, this is it. As the Lord said in the beginning: 'Let there be light...'"
