The Youth comes in definetly not older then 20. From his armor and badges you make out that he is from Mirrodan. Seems like even they are running out of men to recruit regiments. With him he is carrying an ornamented lasgun typical for them. You remember that the Mirrodans are producing their laser weaponry per hand, each gun unique.

Apart from that he has another weapon associated with the Mirrodans. A Mi'lar, a long saber made from Dharite a certain Metal only found on Mirrodan.

Mylady we don't have time, if you would please...

the ship is rocked again by explosions. The speakers spring to live again this time a gruff voice barks orders. "Breaches on the Starboard Side, Marines prepare to repel boarders."

Tavius loots one of the weapons from the necropolis, then goes and helps the prior.

[?] You take a closer look at one of the Burial Chambers. Inside is a glass sarcophagus with a pretty intact body. Apparently back in the time they knew how to keep those bodies fresh. Inside is somebody in a parade uniform from his badges you guess that he had some middling rank in the Navy. But far more interesting is the weapon he glasps with his hands a gun of a worksmanship you have never seen. Without hesitation you break the glass with your elbow and grab for the gun only to badly freeze your fingers on the extremly cold metal. So those bodies have been artifically cooled. You wrap a piece of cloth around your hands and fish again for the weapon, but the clasp of the dead man's hands is strong and as you take another strong pull the weapon comes out with some frozen fingers attached. But before you can bask at your loot, something changes. Alerts begin to blare in the Chamber and one of the walls, which seemed to be of stone, moves apart to reveal a screen and a speaker.

Warning, Damage detected in Stasis Chamber 3345D. Reactivating Main Routine.

Suddenly you can hear the hum of restarting machinery coming from outside, the room and the hallway, barely lit before suddenly are flooded with light.

Main Routine Reactivated. Starting...done.

you hear clicks behind the other Stone Wall which then suddenly moves apart too: revealing a creature you have never seen before. It strangely has a lot commonality with the mutants you have faced up to now. The knee high insectoid Creature in its black cloak ignores you and instead moves towards the Sarcophagus on which it climbs and starts to examine the hole you've broke into the glass. It starts chirping with a voice similiar to a fax machine and suddenly ceases to move.

Instead the strangely grave like voice can be heard again.

Report recieved. Damage intentional. Scanning Burial Chamber...done. Detecting One Unkown Biosign: Human.

then suddenly the revealed screen activates and shows another Faceless Hooded Figure.

Activating Communications and Personality Subroutines...done. Greetings Visitor. Are you here to destroy this facility too?

the Hooded Figure in the Screen seems to know where you are and stares directly at you. It's voice sounding like Teeth grinding on each other has a deep tinge of sadness to it.

((Oh SHIT. Well, this is going to take a bit of explaining to do :P ))

"Apologies. Not here to destroy the facility, just grabbing anything of use to prevent it from being destroyed actually. Sorry about smashing his statis chamber though..." Tavius gestured to the now smahsed sarcophagus with a hint of regret.

"Of course, there's a lot of hostiles coming in through the entrance now, odds are they'll destroy the entire facility in a loot-filled frenzy..."

"Ah well shit..." Tavius grabbed one of the broken fingers and used it on the scanners. If that didn't work he'd try his own. And if THAT didn't work...

Well, I think that answer is obvious :P

"Well, that gives us some chance of survival. What does the evacuation protocol involve exactly?"

It entails the Reanimation of the Crew of the Viridian Dream, the evacuation of said Crew onto the Viridian Dream, the saving of all notable artifacts, the reactivation of the Viridian Dream and the utter Annihilation of this Facility by overloading the fusion reactors.

(More Lore Time...and propably something to do for our impatient Azthor)

The great hall of Delta-17 was empty. well almost at the end of the long dining hall sat Malcador alone. Before him a Deck of Cards. Or it almost looked like cards. In fact they were larger than normal cards and made of wood. he began laying them out again and again and each time when he was done he cursed and mixed them again...something seemed to agitate him.

Entering the dining hall, Azthor notices the visibly agitated Malcador sitting at the head of the table

"What is it that assails you, Malcador? I take it it has to do with these tablets?"

Malcador looked up from the table his face showing barely held restraint.

These tablets Lord Azthor, are cards. Say did you ever hear of the Deck of Ascendants?

"Well, that's a start. Just have to hold them off long enough for that to complete..."
