Criptian Peninsula
As the Herald reaches the Chest-High Walls he find himself facing a ragtag group of Xenos and Militiamen. [6-1] The Xenos have seen that Trent is surrounded by guards and won't surrender, after all they know how Nova deals with Xenos and moreso they know they Roim is named Scaleskinner. [6-2] The Militia might not be as steeled in their resolve but they seem to still remember the Rule of Salyar and refuse to desert their brothers in arms.

Round 1
Aerthius Orders: Surround and Destroy (causes Morale Shock,Strength Bonus equal to Numeric Advantage)
Militia: -
[6-2=4] vs. [6-4=2] = Surround and Destroy Succeeds!
Morale Test Militia: [3-4= -1], [4+1=5] 1 Regiment Salyar Militia eradicated
Surround and Destroy: [3+2+3=8] vs. [1+6=7] 1 Regiment Xeno Militia eradicated
Orderly Aerthius Army surrounds the Militia which begins to prepare a Last Stand on the Hill. As Roims troops storm the Hill in unison, Trents Militia breaks and tries to escape only to be shot down as soon as they leave the barricades. The Xenos, deftly outnumbered give the Attackers a hard fight but still, for every Xenos come 10 of Roims men and under the Laser and Musket Barrage not only the Barricade but also the Xenos Resistance disintegrates. [6] In the end a good half of them are captured. After those who are too weak to walk are executed on the spot you still have a quarter of the Militia remaining to do with as you want.
Roim Crushing Victory
What we see here is a clear evidence of how horribly bad untrained troops can go wrong. Had Trent's Militia had a higher Tactics Bonus they might have turned Roims Numeric Advantage into his demise. However the Surround and Destroy suceeded causing a Morale Shock due to the troops being surrounded. The Militia clearly seeing their end at hand tried to make a run. Bad Choice. All Regiments who fail their Morale Shocks when Surrounded are Eradicated. But still at this Point Trent's Xenos could have used their numeric disdvantage to their favour. You see that Roims Army is using the whole Army Bonuses while Trens are only using that of his single Xenos Regiment? That gives smaller armies a chance to make a good last stand and take the edge off larger enemy armies...
