((OOC: Yep i am a High Master Thread Necromancer although to maintain this thread i dont have enough mana potions leading to the die-life-die and life again dilemma ;P))
((OOC: on another note i decided to treat some Research things as Side-Missions as you just don't go out and say I have researched electricity and suddenly everybody has light in his hut...aside from that some State,Infrastructure and Cultural-concerned Issue will be turned into turns-spanning events you should work together (or not) to solve. To bring the game a bit away from the conquer land, research technology, profit scheme...if you dislike it tell me and we go back to the normal stuff and for example we just assume that Roins Kingdom is easily integrated...)
House NovaThe marriage was a huge boon to House Nova's power. Almost a third of the Planet suddenly belonged to Lady Aeverys and her house now. This magnificent stroke bought the Attention of some of the larger players in the Game. Most notably the Church brought it's unrelenting gaze onto the planet. Although it's resources had dwindled like those of the other players over the last 300 years, they were still the mightiest faction. And the Church got the message of Lady Aeverys. The answer was swift. Archon Garth died the Night he set foot back unto Church Ground under mysterious circumstances. Some said it was the will off the Pancreator others said it was his young inheritor Luthias Hartwing, but in the ranks of nobles and those who were privy to the Workings of the Church it was known that the Orthodoxy had thrown it's answer into Lady Averys face. Declaring for the Reformists was nothing if not a bold move and the galactic players knew it. The Reformists had since some time been in the minority but now, they had also drawn the Orthodoxy's baleful glare.
On the other hand there was Luthias Hartwing a young and ambitious man who would succeed Garth. Publicly known as Garth's right hand man, he is also known as shrewd and calculating nothing if not a dangerous new player. His open stance in favour for the Reformist cause made him some friends but even more enemies.
The Question is: will he side with Nova? WIll he be a loyal lapdog? Or does this man have not so ulterior motives?
AeverysSide-Mission: First, do not HarmDirectly after your wedding party you come back to the tenuous everyday work. Ordering your researchers to begin to spread the knowledge of basic medicines among the doctors,herb-witches and assorted self proclaimed miracle healers and centralize and standardize all procedures as well as uniting all of them into one guild is a trendemous task and costs much time, money and persuasion. For the time being your researchers are working with what resources they have and begin catalogizing all known illnesses and treatments as well as medicines, herbs and similiar things, sorting out those that are useless and putting all that together into a standarised work: The Universal Guide to Medicine. ((OOC: The Medicine thing will be a huge boon to your house and as such i have decided to turn it into a Mission of it's own)
Side-Mission: Full-Steam into the FutureAh Combustion. A thing from ancient times which had been shamefully forgotten. In these ancient times carts were developed which drove by burning the fuel. Your scientists work for some months testing the materials and find out hwo to use them. They tell you that with properly pressurized it offers trendemous amounts of energy which could be used to fuel transportation devices. Along with the Oil, they discover a vein of coal. A stone-like material which however shows the same properties as the oil. They tell you that if you provide them with some money they could build some prototypes to extract these Materials. Alternatively they could scour our city for ancient extraction machines.
Although your send your reinforced military into the newly settled regions the aliens seem to have retreated for now, rumours are heard that they are assembling and mobilizing for war. Settling in the meantime proceeds well, although with the new lands and people aquired from Roin you don't lack any settling space, but people.
Your system is taken poorly. Very poorly, it was actually already existant and nobles laugh at your petty tries to consolidate the masses. In some taverns you are called "Aeverys, The Slow"
You raise 2 more Serf Regiments, although this is taken
very poorly due to the simple fact that Roins military is already enormous and filled with professionals, that raising simple Serfs is seen as a waste of workforce.
Your idea to give the Xenos a broader use is accepted well among the people. Even the Slaves seem to be content, with new rights and the chance to "redeem" themselves that is.
Side-Mission:Opium for the Masses:A simple Gladitorial arena is quickly established at the moment nothing more than a simple dirt ring with some small wooden tribunes, it is filled everyday to the brim as people flock together after a hard days work to see some criminals and Xenos tear each other up. At the moment it's only providing a minor income. But given money, workforce and the proper resources, this could develop into something pretty worthwile. At one end soothing the people, raising support for you and at the other creating a tremendous amount of money...
Side-Mission: The Broken Empire: You have married Roin Scaleskinner and you two but your stuff together. What he is bringing into the Marriage is a whole third of the planet, and over 130 Million Souls, not to forget over 200 Regiments of Soldiers, a treasury with which he could buy your kingdom 10 times over and a destroyed, desolated, poorly reigned "Kingdom". In fact people are living in your new lands in the Dark Ages even more so than your people already do. Although you had begun to establish some infrastructure in your lands, nobody in the newly aquired parts profits from them. More so they don't have a unified currency (some even lacking such completely and paying their tithes in naturals) or culture. Not to mention the lack of a single language, education systems and so on and so on. Unitying your kingdoms will turn out to be a Logistical Nightmare...

SsalosinSide Mission: Money does indeed stinkYou set some researchers to develop fertilizers. They return weeks later and tell you that they aquired a formular. However to properly distribute Fertilizers among the people especially now that the Empire has grown so ridiculously large you need to set up plants which produce en masse. You actually need to set up a seperate industry for the whole ardeur. But it would indeed be profitable...
gained Side-Mission: Money does indeed stinkRigosWith Roins lands now attached. You find yourself in a precarious situation. Most of the lands he captured he had left unattended, lacking any real sophisticated structure at all. The country lacks town watches, lords, mayors, a messenger system, a proper tax-collection actually you feel so overhelmed with the situation that you decided to concentrate on Aeverys Core Lands first. You find that among the Minor Nobles 3 are of importance. They are propably eager to claim some of these unpoliced lands and help you restore order in exchange for influence and of course land. The most important one is Lord Raventree. When you arrive your are surprised to find his hold to be nothing more than a simple motte and bailey affair. Inside you find only a few guards, some children, the servants and besides the name giving massive tree in the court, his wife. Confused that this hold should be the seat of one of your mightiest lords you realize that this country really needs some advancement. Lady Raventree proves to be a clever and shrewd woman. After some casual talk she reveals to you that Lord Raventree is out fighting some bandits but that his forces are so thinly stretched that it's almost futile...
