Delvos is not very keen about the prospect of staying on this planet. Festering plaaques everywhere, the significant drop of temperature. This planet is going to die and he doesn't really want to fight in a frozen hell hole against mutants.

But the other contracts weren't easy either. The whole universe seems to slowly devolve into a hell on earth. He sighs.

Archon was rather enjoying the return to the church's full mercy. Inquisition still looked at him uneasily, but Luthias was sure that with a purge progressing till its end, he was sure to return stonger than ever.

With Church Privileges restored, call upon Ecclesia Custodes to support me with adequate force to finish the crusade and halt the progress of the worsening situation on Si'kar (1 favour; 2 if bigger force possible)
Ask Ecclesia Sacerdoris to begin teaching and missionary work in the newly conquered areas of land once they become populated and colonized.

Continue advance into new endangered areas. Use the recruited horsemen as vanguard and scouts ahead of us.

Delvos

You accept the Contract and using the Triumvirate Space Port, you leave the System on a nearby Triumvirate Freighter.

Arrival in Jurt System next Turn.

Trent

[2] Something Bugs the Scanners of the Frigate and you dont get a good picture of anything at all...

You make your way to the new reported Infection source.

[3] Soon your Outriders report of strange sightings, mirages shimmering in the air. You know that this must be the advancing Horde of 343.
But as the First wave of the beasts come over a crest only half your army is ready to give off a single salvo before entering close Combat.

Trents Forces

Free Fire Round: 7+3 Rolls: 5 Hits! 1 Pack Experiment 343 [1/6HP]

But still a seething mass of beasts come down the hill now beginning to lose their camoflage and showing all their bestial Glory, in full panic Trent sends out his Rough riders to intercept them

6 vs 5= Cavalry Rush suceeds

The Cavalry barely manages to crush into the Beasts before they reach the other men.

Close Combat(Medieval Weaponry disables strenght bonuses) [4 vs. 6],[2 vs.6], [5 vs. 3] ,[2 vs. 4], [1 vs 2],[5 vs 6], [3 vs 4] 2 Regiments Rough Riders annihilated, 1 Pack Experiment 343 annihilated

Round 2
Trent: Cavalry Distraction
343: Feast on their flesh...

Trent seeing his cavalry being torn apart now urges on his own Guard the avengers to distract the horde from the main host. Several potshot at them cause them to turn around seeing in the cavalry the easier target.

[5-1 vs. 3] Success: 1 Round of Freefire.
Free Fire: 11+3 Shots: 6 Hits = 1 Pack of Experiment 343 annihilated.

The beasts easily drawn away by your cavalry are quickly annihilated by massed volleys from your men...

Luthias

You move onwards to the next Area [?] hte lands here seems to have been hit with something, definetly something but you have no idea what it was...anyway the few remaining Xenos don't prove any greater resistance.

[?]You find even more stretches of Dead Land, the few remaining Xenos easily giving in to you...

1 Parcel Infested Xeno-Hive(0MP)
1 Parcel Infested Xeno-Farmland (1Mp)

[?] Travelling for Days your men come upon vast stretches of Plains. Some Middling Xeno-Hives in between, the area is mostly covered in Farmlands. As you move in closer you notice the pungent stench of the Dead. [3] You send some Scouts in. [3] But after 3 Days not a single one has come back. You order a scan from your frigate [2] but disturbances in the magnetosphere reveal nothing.

Unsettled, you still decide to move in with your Army...

what you find ishorrible The Land is covered in decaying corpses, even animals not daring to touch the bloated corpses. A close inspection reveals what hit them...it seem they started decaying alive, a process happening in mere days..

The whole countryside is covered in corpses. As you close in on a nearby Hive you find the floors covered to the brim in Dead. Travelling further into the land you find very few survivors, half starved-kids, the few half-crazed survivors who endured and survived this terryfing case of leper and a few small groups of survivors scavenging the land...

Seeing what happened you order a full retreat. Fearing infection your men run for their lives. [5] Although 2 Regiments catch an Infection, your troop manages to escape the lands otherwise unscathed, you quickly order those men quarantined and seeing that no help cna be brought to them in time you show mercy and shoot them...

Go for the reptile infestation next, also deploying in a thick line. Try and use the corvette's scanners to mitigate the reptiles' surprise factor.

Delvos sits on a bank in the freighter, polishing his helmet... This ride will take a while. Maybe he should start carving wood? It's useless, but time-wasting.

Delvos is slighty frustated. The chunk of wood doesn't look like a flute at all. Maybe he should try something easier?

Call in 3 legions.

File in a case with Inquisition against Azthor Nova as intentionally undermining Soma diocese while planet is under threat and putting humans in danger by denying the diocese its needed funds. Otherwise, file in for a temporary tithe relief for the period of the turmoil on the planet.

The Ecclesia Custodes will arrive together with the Inquisition next season. Your complain will then be dealt with by the Inquisitor-in-Charge.

Azthor

[2,5] Your men move into the area and in quick order try and take care of the Reptilians. However the beasts fight hard and losses are horrible. You lose 5 Regiments Reachwood Irregulars but reconquer the Parcel and annihilate every last one of these monstrosities.

5 Regiments Reachwood Irregulars lost
1 Parcel Farmlands recaptured.

Delvos
