((So, what's the situation now? We got the walls, and they've got some fortification in the cities?))

Roim climb on one of the tower and address the army.

Great job soldiers. The ennemy is retreating, victory is but a short distance away. Tonight, we'll dine on Ravenwood's reserve and drink his wine!

But in the meantime, we still have a battle ahead. Take the walls, encircle them and shoot any you might see. We got their own wall, and soon we'll have their skins!

Turning to Juras

I am sorry for your men Juras, they fought well and deserve the greatest honour. But it is not the time for mourning yet, it's the time for battle. I'll see that any survivor is found and cared for. Now, if you please, take five regiments of your choosing and go prod their defense. We need to know where they're hiding.

Order all the men on the wall, save for 5 regiments of Conscripts that will look around for survivor and establish field hospital.

Bow again
"I thank you my lord I shall find the enemy for you, Am I to engage them upon contact or fall back and away reinforcement?
With your permission I will take 5 regiment of regular frontier men with imperial weapons and flak armor.
If possible I would like fresh regiments, I don't know how many enemies I will face within the city and without your power armored men it is likely to be a bloody battle.
How much do you care about collateral damage to the town itself my lord?
If these men are acceptable please have the commanders come to me and I shall get to work.
"

(( You basically took the gates and routed the defenders in front of the walls. Now they have retreated inside the City proper. You need to take that, and then the port and the Fortress, to defeat them completely. They basically have a many layered defense.))

Robert

You ladn one one of the few islands on the planet and your whole group leaves. It appears that due to the little mass of the moon, there is no ebb and flood on the planet. The Island itself contains no plants and is bare sand and rock.

Interestingly Some ground scans reveal a massive amount of Iron close by. Maybe a worthwhile deposit?

((Well, we get a good defensive position if they sally forth.

But basically, we're looking at gruelling house-to-house fight? How resistant is the spaceport to fire. Could we burn large chunks of the city (with medieval tech I expect lots of wooden houses) whithout damaging it too much?))

You would propably burn the Port down too and all chances at plundering, or future taxes. Besides on a bad roll they'd just flee to the fortress or the Port, making battle not much easier...

Once my troops have taken position on the walls, send an emissary asking for their surrender. Any noble surrendering will keep his land, his men and his life.
If they refuse, offer a ceasefire for a few hours so that civilians may exit the city. We do not want a bloodbath. Search all civilians exiting for weapons.

Take my 5 new regiments and place myself directly behind my lords bodyguard regiment in case he needs assistance.

[1] The Emissaries Head is all that returns, flung from somewhere within the city.
[5] No Civilians are leaving or remaining in the City.

After that obvious reluctance of surrender, Juras and 5 Regiments Infantry are sent into the city to probe into the enemy defenses. [?] Everything goes well for a while. You walkinside the city patrol through the streets and nothing is wrong. The City seems completely empty. Till you reach a Marketplace. And hell breaks lose. You find yourself surrounded by enemy units firing from hidden positions inside the surrounding Houses. Your men quickly hunker down but it soon turns out that anybody trying to run will be shot.

Noble Coalition Army
15 Regiments Coalition Infantry(Regular,Ordinary,Imperial Weaponry,Flak Armour) +3 Strength [2/2HP]
Ambush: Instead of being destroyed on a 4+ Regiment Reforms with one HP Less
Large Numeric Bonus: +3 Morale

Total: +3 Strength, +3 Morale

Juras Group
5 Regiments Regulars(Regular,Frontiermen,Imperial Weaponry,Flak-Armour,Babarians) +5 Strength, -3 Tactics  [3/3 HP]

Total: +5 Strength, -3 Tactics

Surrounded on all sides you order your men to fall back

Round 1
Juras: Fall back (On success escape the Ambush)
Coalition Army: FIRE! (On Success Free Firing Round)

[1] vs. [3-3] = Fall back Fails!

Coalition Fire: 5Hits! 1 Regiment Novan Regulars has been annihilated! 1 Regiment Novan regulars[1/3HP]

You try to make a run for it but as you reach the Street you want to escape through, you realized that an enemy regiment lay in waiting dealing devastating fire and forcing your men back. Even as this happens fire rains from the windows and the roofs of the surrounding buildings.

Firefight!: [6+3 vs. 1+5],[1+3 vs. 6+5],[6+3 vs. 2+5],[5+3 vs. 2+5],[6+3 vs. 1+5] 4Hits!,1Hit  2 Regiments Novan Regulars annihilated, 1 Regiment Coalition Infantry [1/2HP]

Round 2

In a desperate Attempt to escape the enemy fire, you order 1 Regiment to hold the line, while you tell them that another will try and clear out a house as defense position. In reality you try to run away.

Juras: Fall back (On success escape the Ambush)
Coalition Army: FIRE! (On Success Free Firing Round)

[2] vs. [2-3] = Fall back Fails!

Coalition Fire: 4Hits! 2 Regiment Novan Regulars has been annihilated!

While your men pull out Fire is raining down from above. You try to break through the enemy defense line but get shot down on the point. Screaming your men die under the lasers cutting through the various market stands and finally one hits you in the stomach.

Even as you tumble to the ground the fire ceases and the Coalition troops cautiously move towards the few survivors to execute them.
As the light slowly dims, you see a single man in Power Armour looming above you.

"Any last words,Traitor?" seems like he recognises your uniform. he doesn't wait for an answer a sword plunges down and ends your life.

The next Day, men report to Roim that the Coalition has hanged the corpse of Juras from one of the Towers of the Fortress. Around his neck a sign "TRAITOR", written in blood.

Coalition Victory
Juras has been killed!
5 Regiments Novan Regulars lost

Assemble an expeditionary corp of 10 Regulars, 5 Reachwood Irregulars, 10 Conscripts and my Guards. Have them dropped to Lord Bull's hometown.

Don't do a Mary Sue. Try to know your character good enough that you know how he/she'll react in any given situation. Expect too die quickly if you make too many bad rolls. :p
