That pic makes me look sorta like a basement nerd instead of just a guy who doesn't like to go out much and coincidentally likes the internet.

Also... is that a shirt with a slit in the middle?

It is also exactly how I pictured you last game, minus some color/minor changes.

Nice work, freeform. ^^^ Only flaw I see is Victoria wearing shorts instead of a skirt but all you have to do to fix that is change a few black pixels.

>Stake the fool who insists on calling you lame and point out the book you got signed by famed horror writer Allen J. Tepes, which clearly has your REAL name on it. Then pet a cat.

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Roll to Strife II Round 2: Well that was fast

Mindy:
>Look around room for anything interesting to do while waiting on the NEW GAME.
Why would you need to wit on a GAME? That would be so stupid a game doesn't need to be served food or drink. You dismiss the thought immediately.

[2] You look around your ROOM. Unfortunately is such a mess that you can't exactly tell what's what. You think that you should CLEAN UP eventually or something.
Kevin:
>Work on creating a new GLAIVE that won't instantly slice my hand off when I try to throw it.
You head down into the BASEMENT. That's where you have all your TOOLS stored. You prepare a long block of steel. You light your FURNACE. You start working on WEAPON.
You particularly like this kind of work because it gives you something to focus on. The CREATIVE PROCESS makes you feel like it's giving you purpose.

Before not too long, you have created IMPSMITE, a steel GLAIVE! It is decorated with BADASS and adorned with rings of AWESOME. This might be your BEST CREATION YET.

You want to try this out so badly. You go back into your ROOM, where a crudely made DUMMY is waiting for you. You're sure you can defeat it this time for once. You raise your newly crafted WEAPON. You aim at the dummy.

[1] The blade falls off and OH GOG HOW CAN THERE BE SO MUCH BLOOD OH JEGUS OH GOG WHERE DID YOUR ARM GO OH GOG

 Derek:
> Hear about AWESOME NEW GAME from VARIOUS SITES OF INTEREST. Check out the TvTrope page for it.
[5] Wait what game are we talking about? You launch your VAPOR CLIENT and check the online store. Lots of RTS's and RPG's, and the odd FPS there. ll pretty good games, but nothing extraordinary. You next check your E-MAIL account. Maybe your subscription to the GAMEBRO website brings more fruitful results. However your only mail is from some game company you have never heard from. It says that you got chosen for the BETA of a game that they were developing.  It's probably just spam that got through the spamfilter, but you kinda got interested in the game.

[6] You look up the article about the game on TVTROPES, and get stuck there for the next few hours. After you are done, you know everything there is to know about the media and storytelling.

 Daryll:
>Check out your awesome collection of GAMBLING ITEMS.
[5] You don't merely possess a collection. You have a goddamn CASINO. There's a BLACKJACK table which also double as a POKER table. On it there's a suitcase filled with CHIPS and three decks of cards (one of which is marked, but you only use it for CHEAP MAGIC TRICKS).  You also have a roulette table (Made in Russia), as well as half a dozen sets of dice. Some of them are loaded, but against the roller's favour. They consistently roll badly, but when they don't, it's totally worth it.
Lame:
>Stake the fool who insists on calling you lame and point out the book you got signed by famed horror writer Allen J. Tepes, which clearly has your REAL name on it. Then pet a cat.
[4] You cannot stake anybody because the fourth wall, while transparent, is still firmly intact. Maybe later. You still make sure to show us the BOOK that you received from one of your favourite authors, Allen J. Tepes (no relation to Vlad Tepes. You think). The dedication on the cover clearly says "For Victoria". The bloody daggers sure make a difference, you think.

You start reading the first page:
Spoiler: Open Book (click to show/hide)

You are pretty sure that Tepes wrote this. One hundred percent sure.
Mikael:
>Collect up your most coherent deck, then brows your favourite sites for interesting new discoveries
[3] None of your TRADING CARD DECKS are all that coherent, sadly enough. But that's okay, you don't really try to go for a strategy or something with them. You tend to put in the cards that seem the most interesting to you, even if they are pretty bad. So you allocate your TAROT DECK to your STRIFE DECK instead. Can't get any more coherent than that.

[2] You start browsing the WORLD WIDE WEB for interesting news in the field of SCIENCE. You find a series of articles about FASTER THAN LIGHT TRAVEL, the DESTRUCTION OF THE FABRIC OF SPACE TIME, and CLONING TECHNOLOGY. All very interesting, but not all that new. You have already read all there is to be found on these subjects.
