Are the escape pods reusable?
Yep they use a similar thruster system to the one you guys built for the flak drone.
They just need a refuel, repairs to the holes and life support and they need all those bodies and blood cleaned out.
They're effectively just tin cans with lifesupport and propullsion bolted on.

I don't know, get someone to program that virus.
Also, wait for the fuel pump and place an add on some antique vending website telling that you're selling an genuine space sofa.

Oh, I rolled good on that programing attempt i see?

Hmm, what happens if we fire a barrel of fuel out the railgun? Can we make chaff from scrap and fire it from the railgun?

Well,we did the shotgun thing, as for chav out of scrap, I dunno, it seems like you'll just be shooting scrap at them.
It won't stop the sensors.

As for firing a barrel of fuel of the railgun, wait with that experiment a moment.

Questions about fuel
1. What does it need to burn (oxygen?) or is it a liquid hydrogen/ oxygen mix
2. How does it respond to shocks.
3. Are the megnetic fields in a railgun strong enough to create sparks.

Yep very good.
The barrel wouldn't survive the stress involved and probably reputure before leaving the railgun.
No since sensors are primarily thermal based, tiny bits of metal does nothing to obsecure them.

No the sensor Chaff missile isn't resuable because it spreads out the chaff over a large area by exploding (the chaff in this case is not radar chaff like today but more a thermal chaff that over loads the sensors with millions of rapidly oscilating heat and light emissions)

3. Are the megnetic fields in a railgun strong enough to create sparks.

1. It's a reactive high energy molecule mixed with liquid oxygen
2. It's largely uneffected by shocks
3. Oh yes, you can expect any kind of angleular metal to induce a charge when fired by the railgun.

If you can't get a decent price for it, let's just put in an unused room that we can turn into a lounge.

For the couch some one online offers 20 credits for it.

The virus is coded and ready for upload.
The servers owner will know immediately once it starts broadcasting.

After adding another 200 units of fuel to the tank the lower decks of the cargo ship are now safely accessible.
There isn't much down there aside from maintaince passage ways.

Your scout drone has yet to find much, but it has come across a canister of beer.

Personally, I vote for everyone being called back and start heading to port :S

We could always do whatever we want safely in port.

The ship isn't ours, it's better if nobody knows we have it. Also, you almost blew it up.
Check if everything flammable is away, if so activate auto repair.

Question: Can we launch the escape pods out of the railguns, with the people inside surviving( Supersonic boarding pods)

I think that might damage the railgun more than it aids us. Also, doesn't thermite burning require air.

Just for the record...

then some crew members would have been killed :S

Not blewn up (not to deny that I almost did wrong).

Anyways, Jerick said that we were in a backwater, with barely a official in sight. We could probably have brought the ship to port and dismantled it for all we care  :P

They were dead, and then I ninja'd them alive. Anyway, what didn't happed doesn't matter. We still have an unfinished businnes on our hands. Now that all the drones are dead the server might be taken offline soon. So I guess, we should activate the virus as soon as everyone's ready.

Too much g forces involved for people to survive, you'd also need to heavily reinforce the escape pods just so they stand a chance of leaveing the guns intact.
Of course machines could withstand the g foces easily...

Yep exactly, though most metal is pretty hot when it leaves the gun any way due to friction with light and lose atoms.

With the press of single button power lines begin to hum and mechinisms grind into motion.
Damaged sturctural supports are cut free and removed by their neighbours as new ones are slide into their place and wielded in.
Sections of power lines with that have been sheared in two are replaced.
The myriad of complex mechinisms move to replace and patch everything damaged.
The more complicated systems like the engine and life support are beyond it though and will have to be repaired manualy.
Holes in the hull of the cargo ship are filled with a hardening foam one by one.

The virus is uploaded to the computer and for a few nerve wrecking moments nothing happens.
A few more pass and still nothing happens.
Suddenly you pick up the garbled nonsense you programed the server to send.
It's coming from close by.
