What platform do you play DF on?

Just curious since I have DF on both my windows and mac computer, but I usually play DF on my Mac.
I just mostly find it convenient to be able to take pre-cropped screenshots for uploading the dozens of mini pictures that I invariably paste into all of my succession game updates.

But then again, I am making this thread on a windows computer for those of you who are curious.

I also use windows because I don't like paying twice as much for the same product.

oh but windows pressing Alt+PrintScreen autocrops it too, it just can't save at all.
I'm using windows because all the cool companies provide easy to use drivers.

I use windows because in this dump where I unfortunately live when you ask a technician to format your computer he automaticaly installs a pirate windows 7 version on it too...
I prefer Apple's products but I don't have acess to them where I unfortunately reside.

Arch or (more so than Arch recently) Debian GNU/Linux. I prefer to control, rather than be controlled by, my computing. Unfortunately, my Macbook (which is my school laptop) is proving irritating when it comes to running Debian. So, when I must use a proprietary OS, I prefer Mac because it's much more UNIX-like. I suppose I'll vote Linux.

I'm confused by the "Frankenstein" option. I self-built my computer, true, but not the OS. I run Windows.

The frankenstein  option makes no sense.
Only 0.01% of the people anywhere would make their own OS.

Quick correction, it's not "platform", it's "OS" or "Operating System". Platform is like PC, Xbox 360, PS3, etc..

What? I've been playing Dwarf Fortress on my Xbox 360 this whole time. The graphics are really nice. I'm up to the fifth level, where are you?

I play all my games on Windows, but last year I've installed Ubuntu and started using it for everything else. Since DF is supported on Linux, I'm thinking about playing it on Ubuntu instead. But I haven't bothered with it yet.
