lrcp: Are you sure you're backing out? You don't have to top anyone. Do your own thing and it should be mildly entertaining. Mine wasn't simply because it was dry as hell >_>
Well.. if you say so... Back in for me.
I was going to complain I had enough Homestuck in my life with the RPG but then I remembered who was taking the turn right now and I was like "aw dangit i can't top that for sheer homestuck density".

Against all expectations, DARVI has become so skilled in combat that she began leading all of the training sessions. You would have insisted that was your job, but you're still pretty weak combat-wise. You thus appointed DARVI to the lofty rank of "her honorable tyranny", replacing you and giving you a little more free time to manage the fort. Of course, DARVI could care less about ranks.

Several new migrants came in today, but you haven't had time to categorize them. Suffice to say there's Troll for nearly every color and solar sweep group now.

You extended the bedroom area, and built a jeweler's workshop to deal with all the raw gems that lrcp's mining team have been discovering. Your miners have as of yet refused to tunnel through the warm stone. Perhaps that's just as well.

Currently on ARBITRARY COMMANDER, just above RIGHT-HAND MILITANT.

Wait, so you promoted Darvi to captain of the guard for being good at combat?

You'd better get a prison up by the time you can promote a baron >_>

Truthfully, my in character reason was also out of character: DARVI was leading ALL of the demonstrations, presumably because her skillz were higher. It just seemed fitting.

My tablet is nearly busted so I probably won't be able to do any more images for this. It's currently the 28th of the month after Sandstone, and nothing big has happened.

It's cool if there aren't any images. We can just say the viewscreen we're watching on broke.

I would be fine with some fortress screenshots actually. We haven't seen one image of the fortress since the beginning, and I'm wondering what it all looks like at this point.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Except for the death of KISMET AMANDA, the second Troll to be taken by the curse of a fey mood, life in Sprayedmoirails has been excellent for you. You've been striking down waves of zombie Honk-birds and Troglodytes as the rest of the fortress scrambles to produce better weaponry.

Ever since one of the blasted Signless Followers came and snatched one of your trinkets, you've been preparing your military for an all-out ambush. The first Follower must have been a scout. There will surely be more to come.

See, I wouldn't have thought combining the suggestions would have worked as well at it did. But it did.

You nearly had him.

A second thief attacked the fortress, but this time you were ready. You charged into battle alongside your squad, catching the thief off guard. You fought valiantly, but the thief escaped in the last moment. And what did you get for it? A fractured lung and a wide-open torso, that's what. You had to rest for weeks before your wounds healed. You were lucky that you survived at all.

You have come to the realization that, while military is exciting, real combat is nothing like lopping the heads of mindless zombie animals. You don't want to risk your life for this silly cause. After the year is up, you will retire, and take up metalcrafting again. Or perhaps some other field.

Year-end save's here. Not a terrible lot has happened, but I don't feel up to writing an epilogue post RIGHT now.

1st Granite 415
So that "freeformschooler" decided to step down from playing the boss. She then promptly fell asleep outside or something where all the zombie bad animal thingies are. Get back in here right this instant young lady! No I don't care that you're older than me! No I don't care you're a higher blood color than I am either!

Apparently I'm supposed to be taking command over this fat ugly nunsack? Heheh, that's pretty funny. I'd like to see the faces of those jerkass highbloods back in the capital now that a lowblood, a 14-sweep-old blood of the lowest color possible, is head of an entire fort hive thing now, even if it is pretty much a hole in the ground surrounded by undead.

Looking back inside, it feels like I got hit on the head or amnesiafied something, as I can't remember what anything looks like anymore or where anything is. Did I really dig this out? I don't remember that table being there. What's with this shitty craft pile? What's going on here, people? Why are there berries lyong around over there? Don't just stand there, you worthless fucking slobs, STORE the food! What? We're out of space? Looks like I'm going to have to make some more food storage rooms. Why can't anyone around here do ANYTHING right, I swear. Damn this place is a mess. Where's all the wood? These boulder traps aren't going to keep us safe very long. Even wooden spikes or something would be better. You know, this whole entrance isn't very secure. I blame it all on freeformschooler. All of it.

Oh man, I knew it. A Signless follower was able to sneak RIGHT IN and was only discovered when she tripped over a chicken. Someone ought to make some clubs for traps. Shit, whare's the wood? I think I might need to take a lie-down break. First I'll have to get rid of all these shitty craft piles though. What kind of moron would leave crafts in a pile?

This fort is kind of conksuck. I know there are zombies and stuff but really? FINISHED GOOD STOCKPILES?? You mean just leaving them lying in the trade depot isn't good enough? :P
Also sorry if I seem kind of mean in the thing, but it probably comes from being at the bottom of the hemospectrum. Life sucks, man.
A few questions:
1. Is the fort still called a fort or does it have a special troll name?
2. When it says in the description screen "x years old" are those plain ol' years (and thus should be divided by 2.5 for sweeps) or just sweeps?
3. WHY DID YOU GO TO SLEEP OUTSIDE FFS?!?
