Trust me, when the microcline invades, I pave roads of blue.  But all jokes aside dirt is easy to excavate, and I don't have to dispose of rocks.

Is it possible to use livestock as catapult ammunition (via modding or otherwise?)? I want to taunt my invaders some more!
Unfortunately, no. The closest you could get would be to create a reaction that took a corpse and turned it into some type of corpse ballistae bolt. Overall siege weaponry is fairly well hardcoded at the moment, sadly.

If it fits on a bridge you can bridgeapult it in the general direction of the enemy. This is an overcomplicated way to vent the contents of your mass-pitting system to the front lines, but it can be done.

Theoretically, a row of catapults could make a long dodge-me trap effective against (non-flying) trapavoid invaders.
