It is a little late, but there is a mod for X-com (X-com Util) that does a handful of things including rearranging the base. I can't remember all the features but it is on the X-Com wiki.

I would personally caution against giving too much information to the readers. Every time you create a new process for your LP you create extra work to make it. X-Com games allways suffer from end game grind. It is even worse if you have to type out who died and how many kills everyone got on small-ufo-mission over 9000.

I too love X-Com 1, but find it too slow to play any more. I have spend many hours on it. Good luck with the LP.

Hey Fikes, love you Apoc LP. I know of XComUtil, and I personally want to do a vanilla LP. I used to edit UFOPaedi a lot, so a couple facts are burned into my brain which I canot help but expressing to the readers. Also, grindan is always my least favorite part past startup, but it's alright.


Also, finished February. It's.... not all that exciting. No UFOs, no Terror Missions.
