Cleaning Up Corpses?
« on: December 02, 2011, 09:07:57 pm »

Whoah, It's me again. I should knock myself out or something, give this a rest.  But I have another question.  Is there any way to clean up these goblin bodies that are outside?  After my latest siege + double ambush combo I have a bit of a... corpse problem.  They are everywhere, and combined with the flooding of blood, it's getting annoying.

You just know you're screwed when a dwarf dies of old age.

If you have access to magma you could always drop them in.

If not, crushing them under a drawbridge should also work.

Hit O then R then O again.
Your dwarves will now clean up refuse found outside! You should also check out the whole O command list, you can set it so creatures and their belongings are Forbidden when they die, that way your dwarves don't run out to collect stuff, and they can be safely mass unforbidden when it's safe.

Jam a door with its corpse and let all the goblins in. Hey, nobody said it had to be a weapon against your enemies.
