Shruman is done! Well, front sprites anyway. Also, figured out what was messing up the colors: By default, gfx.color_management.mode is set to 2 in firefox. Set it to 0, and boom, problem solved.

Apparently a weird linux-only firefox default. Strange as shit, but explains so many problems over the years. So no one else probably saw the problem but me. Awesome!

Currently at work so I cannot continue on my project at the moment.

However I do have a question regarding the final evolution of this creature.
How.. Advanced are the weaponry for the LCS inspired scenario?

We're operating on the basis of schizotech so I think the LCS areas are modern

Agreed.

Are the two different colored sprites in your post what you saw GlyphGryph? I saw slightly different (less saturated) colors in Chrome, but nothing that drastic.

I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

No, firefox was just stripping out colors until it was just a 2 color image. The one on the right here is the Shiny version. :P

Ahhh ok. Now I want a shiny one because that is seriously freaky.

My wife calls him "gumby-squid".

Anywho! Is anyone else working on anything now, or is it just me and sprites? ;)

Anyone actually inserting any into the game?
