I guess I could try that.

But then what's its relationship with Sodpoppet? Upside-down, but three sounds like a job for a third stage...

I mean, the overall tree.

Grasauk(1 sock) -> Sodpoppet (1 sock) -> Saukriboo(1 sock)
                     (a)-> Tresok (three socks) -> burningx3 pigtail socks
                     (b)-> Sodpoppet -> Tresok

Which one sounds better, a or b?

Maybe a burning sock, then three burning socks?

I like (a), but I kind of want there to be more plant in the sprite, just to bring the "tree" into Tresok.

I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Actually, I meant 'tres' as in '3' not 'tree' :P

Eh. I'll think of something ...

But it IS plant type. It's a double reference, the best kind!

Yeah I thought it was supposed to be a double reference... :P

Honestly, I think we should drop the "burning" line bit altogether. I just think we'd be better of with a grass mon at that point.

Also, have a little fun with it! The most important thing for the design is for it to be visually interesting and convey the essence of the monster!

I just had a good(?) bayomon idea-a mucical note set. So we get the Semiquaver, a quaver and a minim, slam them into a normal/wind(?) evolution tree... it could work.

Flying type, then? I'm not actually sure on our numbers for how many of those we already have, but it might be interesting to incorporate music notes with another idea so there aren't just notes on a barstaff, you know? Like what they did with Tympole and Meloetta in Gen V?

Tympole... I hated that guy and his 'u mad?' expression D:

Urgh, yes. Well, definitely handled better than Tympole's rests for eyebrows. Now that was just creepy.

Only if Tympole didn't have those eyebrows, he would be very cute. Try and hide those eyebrows with your finger - lo, he has become CUTE.

I like Meloetta, though. She's pretty. <3
