Probably a more ghost-like sock with a beret and a silly moustache.

+1, a thousand times.

But y'know, socky-er.

@Reudh
Ghost like... so, with a less definite outline, I guess?

@Anyone
What I would think the bayomon would evolve:

Grasauk
Sodpoppet OR PigTailSock[3] (temp)
Saukriboo         !!PigTailSock[3]!!

Because, to be honest, the sock-puppet is hard to draw D: Tripled socks are probably easier, on the other hand. Still not sure about the fire. Do we have ROM hackers? Maybe I should try and learn.

ROM hackers? We've got a few, but all of us tend to have other things to do (in my case uni, in others, wife and kids, or school, etc.). The more the merrier, as long as you also learn how to use Github and either Git Bash or Git Gui.

As for ghost-like, a simple technique you could use to make it look more ghostlike is colour some pixels in a transparent colour- that is, whatever you're using for the background.
Gastly is a good example.

There is... https://github.com/GlyphGryph/Bay12Pokemon/wiki/Wambler but it has no moveset or anything except a possible name so far. I seem to remember a moveset, but it doesn't seem to have been put on the wiki.

I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

I instinctively thought that it would be the resident Magikarp for some reason, or is that taken by another Bayomon?

Me, writing story? You surely jest.

All I do is hack the ROM and make the odd crappy sprite.

Tha's the wambler.

Well, if I'm wrong... then that doesn't matter.

But one could call being the overseer of the wiki writing, at least.

I'm working on an alternate sprite for the Sodpuppet. Unless that one is fine?

Better sprites are always better. At the very least we can choose which one to use. Not very many of the sprites we have got in the way they were originally designed, after all.

There is A moveset, but I was waiting for final approval before I put it up.

If anyone has anything they were "waiting for approval" on, post it again because it's been lost to the depths of the thread otherwise.

Hey, guys!
Sorry for the delay; I said I'd do some main character sprites ages ago.

Here's the first one: the male protagonist. I started with Red, and gave him long sleeves and stuff.

I think I'm at 16 colors already,
so if I want to do green on his shirt,
I'll need to do some conglomerating.

EDIT: picture updated

Ah yeah I had almost forgotten that I had asked about that :D

It looks awesome!

And yeah removing the green bit is perfectly fine

Awesome! Although I notice the first one doesn't seem to have the white bit between the backpack straps. Overall, though, very cool.
