Not real eyes, no, but things that look like eyes. Like a butterfly! It's actually blind. Might be better to surround them with something other than white, I suppose, to make that clear?

Hehe I really like it. I hadn't thought about the "See" in Seegle, really, but that makes it very obvious. I might tweak the moveset a bit to incorporate some eye-based moves. Oh and maybe they should be immune to accuracy reduction, being blind and all?

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Yeah, change the colouring around to make it more/less obvious (whichever one applies in this case). Even after you told me that it's supposed to be, I still can't picture it as anything besides a pair of eyes.

Besides that it's awesome though.

But if they look exactly like eyes, because then people would think that they are their actual eyes, and not some fancy eye-spots.

I mean, if it's mentioned in the mon description, that's enough in my opinion.

However, this suggestion would easily work too.

Oh I think that's meant to be an eye too (hench the eyes on all of Reegle's tail feathers). But yeah, I'm gonna give their movesets a quick once over and maybe swap out a move or two.

Cavider/Givider working concepts..
This is furtuka's cousin, by the way.

 - So the colors are kind of bizarre because I wasn't sure if the concept needed to be within palette restrictions.  I just color-dropped swatches off of the FRLG sprites of Starmie and Exeggutor.  If they don't need to be within the restrictions, I can go back and actually color these prettily.

 - Also, cell shading (Cavider) or painterly (Givider)?  I realize cell-shading is probably easier to sprite, so I did both.  Preferences?

 - Lastly, would you guys prefer digital or traditional? I am more proficient at the latter, but certainly can do the former as well.

I guess just anything you would prefer me change for the future.

Oh man, awesome. My personal preferences would be to stick within a 16 color palette and use cell shading, but if you can somehow do that with traditional media, go for it? If you use the palette and cell shading spriting's basically just converting the concept to a smaller form, rather than doing anything artsy with it, which means it doesn't take as long. Other people might have different preferences, though. Either way, wow nice art! :D

Edit: Also, welcome out from behind the lurking veil! As first posts go, that's a very good one. :P
