I have a preliminary moveset for Bogesh

Code: [Select]
             Bogesh     Boogey
Scratch        5
Leer           7
Scary Face     13
Bite           19
Iron Defence   24
Shadow Ball    30
Slash          35         37
Mean Look      40         44
Crunch         46         51
Perish Song               54
Torment        55         61

NOTES: Ultimately Decided to roll with Bogesh being Dark Type only and Boogey becoming a Dark/Ghost

CAT-2 NOTES: If we choose to make every evolution of Cat-2 produce another Cat-2, then I propose that we go with a different level scheme than

           15                 18
Cat-2 ------> Cat-5 -------> Catcloud

Instead, I would recommend the evolution tree of

            15                28
Cat-2 ------> Cat-5 -------> Catcloud

To at least spread out the Cat-2's evolution times.

But that seems like a bit of a jump - One at lv15, one at lv28, and then 62 more at each level after?

Also, it's Catclowd, as in a Clowder of Cats. :P

Also, just to record from the convo today:

Some sort of Virus Stone as the last one, that causes a pokemon to become "infected" - perhaps the same thing that caused the mutants at Syrupleaf? You can find some there, maybe a large number, but there's a limited amount and they only effect a few pokemon to get some sort of Paras->Parasect sort of thing.

Also, we discussed pre-evolutions for the undead - With the exception of the Magaphant line, I think most of them should be one-offs, that don't evolve beyond the Tome Stone evolution - at most 2-offs. I liked the idea of deriving the Uncarp prevolution from the word Koi, and we still need some sort of Elk mon.

Obviously Mr.Tusks evolves into Skelefaint.

Huh. I figured it was a deliberate mis-spelling of cloud.

Wow. Ok. Respect for GlyphGryph's mon naming: +1

Didn't know a clowder was a thing until just now.

I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

You managed to pack at least four plays on words into that one name and at least three of them are references to entirely different concepts.

Boatmurdad is the same. :P
Sometimes I feel like I overdo it just a bit.

Mind you I was also considering naming that something else and making Cat Clowder the evolved form of mewstew :P (A chowder reference to boot!) but then decided against it... or maybe I will anyways.

Sell a Catclowd, he cooks it up into some Catclowder...

Just for evolutions sake for Catclowd. You can keep the horde of produced cats, just space out the evolutions more. Its not supposed to be a Bug type.

Do we HAVE any bug-type-style evolution trees? As a matter of fact, I WAS seeing it as filling in the "quick evolving bug" role. Our own bugs like Cadiver will probably have much slower evolution rates, and I figured it would make sense for our electric mons to be the ones that evolve quickly.
