I'm in chat and ready to get some work done cleaning up those sprites if anyone's interested in chatting.

Here's the moveset for the two Spawn pokemon found in Syrupleaf:

Spawndorf -> Leetspawn at level 12? I dunno.

Code: [Select]
Moves:                Spawndorf                       Leetspawn

Tackle                  Start
Leech Life              Start
Bite                     5
Growl                    5
Howl                     5
Crunch                   12                              15
Poison Fang              35                              36
Take Down                36                              37
Crush Claw                                               40
Taunt                    41                              43
Torment                  42                             43
Thrash                   50                              47

Crunch Should be learned later, and you need to fill the gap between Lv.5- Lv.35 With Moves.  You may want to move taunt earlier and add some stat alterers into the space.

Oh, and make less moves learned at level 5.

Howl's +1 attack. I could shift that down to level 9 or 10 I think, that's the level that Poochyena and other dogs learn it.
Growl is an early level move, as always.

Between 12 and 35? Uhm...
                          Spawndorf           Leetspawn
Howl                         15                       18
Slash                        23                       23
Crunch                                                28
Scary Face                25                       29
Taunt                       30                       31
Glare                        33                       34

Is that better?

Yes, that looks like it is a definite improvement from the last one.

I would say it's ready to go, but I want more input on it before we add it to the hub.

For those having trouble with command line git, here's a gui for you
http://www.syntevo.com/smartgit/download.html?all=true
Although, and this is important to note, the basic git for windows thing COMES with a GUI. If you don't like command line - use it!

Drakon is trying it out now, maybe it will help

Might be a good idea to throw this in the OP as well:
http://help.github.com/win-set-up-git/

And also the address of the repo:
git@github.com:GlyphGryph/Bay12Pokemon.git

And a mention that if you want to actually PUSH to the repo, you need to get added as a collaborator

Darvi, when you show up again... is there any particular reason you move every file in the program into the a single, new folder?

Yeah I found that out. It is weird though because half the skills that Boatborn cn learn, its evolutions can't.
That's just because those moves are learned before they evolve. The moves from pre evolutions should probably all be learned at the same level in later evos, just in case we get move tutoring/teaching npcs in the game. That should probably be changed in the wiki...
I'm pretty sure Boatborn evolves before it can learn Doom desire and the like.

Git did that.

You can always prevent evolution.

Yeah. "B to cancel evolution while it's evolving!" or give it an Everstone.

Yeah but it's unusual to give a starter-mon abilities that its evolutions don't have.

(In fact the only example I can think of right now is Pikachu and they are kinda oddballs anyway what with how they evolve (or don't))

Hmm. Misdreavus can learn Pain Split at ~lv. 32. Mismagius can't learn it unless it has it already.

Yeah, it used to be pretty rare, but it's gotten more common with newer generations. I kind of like it, especially with mons like Perlihorn where it's evolutions are very different from it and each other.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.
