Yup, I like your concepts of how they'll be different GlyphGryph, we just need to actually make the links go to different places.

Also, how do you shorten your name? Just Glyph or Gryph or GG like someone else did? Or just don't shorten it? It's confused me for a while, even though it's very much not important. :P

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Haha just Glyph^2 and be done with it. :P

I'll put up a screenshot of the first cave (were we really going to name that after me? That'd be neat, but if another name fits better go for it) in a couple minutes (once I figure out how, mainly).

Yes, we are really naming it after you. :P I think it started as a mistake someone wrote, or a descriptor or something, but I like it. Heheh.

And as far as short version of my name, I think "Gryph" is the most common, with GG being second and Glyph coming in third. Honestly it really doesn't matter, heheh.

I like it! Depending on what we put south of town we'll need to tweak that border, but it looks good.

Also, where does that woman who imitates a sign post pop up? On the town map or the cave map? I can't find her event at all.

I can now merge edited binaries, bitches!

(Only easily assuming they don't touch the same bits of code, so still, seriously folks, don't do it.)

Yay for temporary cave wheat!

Edit: So it sort of works. There's a green blinking because of the way it's animated and I ended up breaking the way some other rare grass tiles look, but encounters only happen in the cave wheat now. Except for that little spring coming out of the wall. If you wander around in that little two tile puddle, there's a 1% chance of finding a level 3 Mewtwo. In related news, Gryph it looks like you CAN use the water encounter list like you suspected, making it so there are two sets of mons encountered based on the tile. Also, Espier and Helgust stats and moveset put on the wiki.

More Doodles :D  (apologys for my lack of skill in drawing female characters. For some reason the facial and head to body proportions always get screwed up. Not to mention that I was getting tired near the end of drawing the female character doodles)

Here's my male PC proposal. If we don't use him for that, we'll probably end up using him for another trainer, I suppose.
