Hello all, sorry I was unable to make it to the chat.

I've been juggling around a couple of ideas for the dragons, and thought I should post what I've collected.

The 4 dragons are defined by the Eastern Dragon, Western Dragon, Sea Serpent, and Hydra.

The Sea Serpent, tenatively dubbed Wasserl, has typing (Water/Dragon)

The Hydra, tenatively dubbed Decalisk, has typing (Steel/Dragon)

The Western Dragon, currently unnamed, has typing (Fire/Dragon)

The Eastern Dragon, currently unnamed, has typing (Electric/Dragon)

The typing is set up to produce a Wasserl>(Western Dragon)>Decalisk>(Eastern Dragon)>Wasserl

Opinions People? I don't want to feel like I'm invisible again.

Oh, sorry bro. I think everyone has their own particular legendaries they want to do - but these are fine ideas that I'm happy to go with if given enough backstory :). Keep in mine the Electric element will be doubly strong against both Water and Steel, and Steel will be strong against none.

Electric is normal vs. steel. Steel deals 0.5x to Electric.

Oh yes, apparently so. O_o
Either way, I don't think the Decalisk would have an advantage over the Eastern Dragon.

I completely forgot about this AND a few obligations I had to do IRL. Yesterday was a great day for me. I'll probably give sprite inserting another go tonight though and screenshot document everything so I can hopefully figure out what's going wrong.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Well, I'll aim to be online for a potential meetup Thursday night, then. Hopefully I'll get a bit of spriting done as well.

A little bored today and drained of energy (I need a night out! :P), so I did this.

Bayobeast Capture Items:

Bay-o-net : The standard disposable device for capturing Bayobeasts.

Super Net : A device with a better catch rate than a Bay-o-net.

Great Net : A device with a better catch rate than a Super Net.

Mag Net : A device for capturing Bayobeasts. Works better on STEEL and ELECTRIC types.

Fishing Net : A device for capturing Bayobeasts. Works better on WATER types.

Moskito Net : A device for capturing Bayobeats. Works better on BUG types.

EDIT : If you guys wanna change any of these for something better, please feel free! :D It was just something I thought up on the spot while trawling through the items.

Also added HM / TM moves for Seegul and Slag and altered Dolbok's stats upwards a little (was significantly weaker than even a Rattata.)

Artifact net: Guaranteed catch.

I thought I'd let someone else come up with that. Great idea! :)

Nets?
Shouldn't it be miniature cages?

edit: Oh, the pun of the first tier net just struck me.

BAY o NET? :D

Gettit? :D

GETTIT? :D :D :D

I wonder if cages would be better. It would be more of a homage I suppose... but you could look at these as animal traps. We already have a bayomon who is a living cage. :)

Aww, don't we already have names for all the bayoballs? While I DO love wordplay, I don't think this is a good enough reason to switch. At least half of them would need to be puns for me to think otherwise. And good ones too! I don't see how a bayonet is relevant. :P

Altough the Mag, Fishing and Moskito ones kind of makes sense.  :P
