Yeah, sorry about things like that. I'm not sure what I quite compared it to. I think as it's simply a 2 stager mon, the final stage should be bit more powerful than the 2nd stage of a 3 stager, but not as strong as the final stage of a 3 stager. (Apologies if this requires a lot of reading to make sense of.)

Keep up the good work, I'll do a little more tonight :)

I know what you mean, man. Generally speaking, two-stagers DO have lower stats than three-stagers, but the level you put Novoto's stats at was at the second stage of a third stage evo, if you know what I mean, rather than a final of a two stage.

Nintendo example:

Swellow: Two stager, weighted to speed: 430 base.
Pidgeot: Three stager, weighted to speed (just): 469 base.
Noctowl: Two stager, weighted to HP: 442 base.
Staraptor: Three stager, weighted to Attack and Speed: 475 base.
Unfezant: Three stager, weighted to Attack: 478 base.

These are all similar pokemon, in that they are all final forms of an early-encountered flying type. One can say that the two stagers DO have lower base stats compared to their three-stage counterparts, but not by much. (430 and 442 vs. 469, 475 and 478).

Your right, I need to kick myself tomorrow and devote a bit time to do something again. I'll get on on the irc too if someone ends up there. ETA: at least 10 hours.

I had to to something about Bajrager as it was apparantly my idea (I dont even remember anymore) so here's something. It might have a bit too low stats actually being no evolution mon. Posting it here anyway, but it might be a bit work in progress atm.  :(

Ill have look at the rom tomorrow.

Sounds good, although if it's "sought - after" you may want to buff it a little, say to around the ~450 stat point range.

Other than that, really cool! :D

Twas what I was thinking. Most no-stage mons have a good stat to compensate for their lack of evolution, eg. Kangaskhan, with a base of 490.

I'll buff it a bit and tweak the descriptions, then Ill look at the new route that was made, specifically where it was saved and how the connections work and was it saved over some old map.

If I place grass somewhere does that make automatically pokemon appear there or do I have to designate those areas with triggers or designations or something? Does placing grass alone make it area where wild battles can happen?

It's actually part of the grass, so you just have to place it.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

As I havent used advance map much yet, I'm currently just modifying the map USEC_OFFICER made. Learning more about the different movement restrictions and where the blocks are at the same time. I'll show the modified version of the map when I'm done.
