Very tempted to do some art for main character. He's very cleanly sprited; looks good.

Hey, guys!
Sorry for the delay; I said I'd do some main character sprites ages ago.

Here's the first one: the male protagonist. I started with Red, and gave him long sleeves and stuff.

I think I'm at 16 colors already,
so if I want to do green on his shirt,
I'll need to do some conglomerating.

EDIT: picture updated

Ironhand, you're awesome.

Battle sprite!

And a profile sprite!

It's bigger, and it has 32 colors!

Can a profile sprite have 32 colours?

I don't know anything about it.

The one in my reference did, though.

Pacilyeh needs to be water/psychic.

Also, are we still doing those "meme" bayomon?

By 'meme' bayomon, do you mean the ones that we have planned but aren't quite yet in concepts, like the 'spambot' bayomon or similar?

A while ago there was talk of doing mons based on memes like...  the 'arrow to the knee' one I guess. I think it died fairly quickly because we couldn't really come up with decent concepts that didn't make us cringe.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

A fire/rock type Bayomon named Necro with Eruption as it's signature move?

I'd say Magma Storm instead of Eruption but sadly it's a Gen IV attack

How much of the 64x64 pixels should a sprite fill?

I like the Necro idea. Make it his avatar, like that blue dwarf mining he always had.

And Eruption's good. Fire type definitely.
