Ooh, divergent is a green light? Yay :D

So, the evolutions would be:

  • Burning socks
  • Sock puppet spirit
  • More solid spirit

, splitting into three paths?

I think two is enough, honestly.

Agreed. :/

So, burning sock or sock puppet evolution?

Question is, who will draw them ?! I'm not a good drawer neither am I a good pixeler >.>

For the monsters :

(Temporary name) Pig Tail Sock - Regular floating sock with shining eyes in shadow.
(Temp) Pig Tail Sock [3] - Three floating socks.
(temp) !!Pig Tail Sock[3] !! - Three burning, floating socks.
(temp) Sock puppet - Inverted floating sock
(temp) Sock puppet2 - Sock puppet, aggressive looking, shadow hand

Does the above sound OK?

Oh I thought pig tail sock (Grasauk) was going to be the inverted one with shadowy eyes (could pretty easily flip and slightly modify the sock sprite you made), sock puppet 2 (Sodpuppet) was going to be after that (based on your physical descriptions), then it could evolve with stones into either one with fire or one with more a much more pronounced spirit (Saukriboo).

I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

That sounds good too. Now I'm torn between spriting the sock and making my D&D map :P

That's a nice place to be, isn't it? It's been a long times since I've been torn between creative projects. It makes it so you can't really do as much on each, but it also means when you get a bit bored of being creative on one project you can hop back to the other and still feel good and productive/creative. :P

I'm thinking:

(Temporary name) Talesauk? - Psychic
(Temp) Pig Tail Sock [3] - Psychic-Fire
(temp) !!Pig Tail Sock[3] !! - Psychic-Fire
(temp) Sodpoppet - Psychic-Ghost?
(temp) Saukriboo? - Psychic-Ghost?

How does a Psychic-Ghost type fare in combat? Is it x4 weak against Dark? O_o... Is it unbalanced?

That completely ruins my names - Sodpoppet doesn't make sense if it's not grass type. And isn't anything like any of the concepts anyone else proposed. And... well, I'm not sure where you're going with it, or why you're making it like that. I'm just generally confused.

(Temporary name)Grasauk - Grass
(Temp) Pig Tail Sock [3] - Fire-Psychic
(temp) !!Pig Tail Sock[3] !! - Fire-Psychic
(temp) Sodpoppet - Grass-Ghost?
(temp) Saukriboo? - Grass-Ghost?

Sorry, didn't know that was a joke :/ I only saw 'boo' and 'poppet'. Call subtle jokes the bane of non-natives T.T

BTW, is changing type entirely (as in Grass->Fire) legal? I don't think there were any vanilla pokemon that did that.

Perfectly legal. I'm still not entirely sure why you want to go Fire-Psychic instead of Fire-Grass though.

... Good point :/ Fire-grass it is then. Should it float like the sprite I already made, or should it be lying on the ground? (I mean the PTS [3] line.)

Floating is fine with me. Can even give it "Levitate".

Shouldn't it be psychic for its power to attract dwarves?
