Did I mention that becoming a Frankenstein is a common procedure among mercenaries? Heres the scoop on the procedure.
One of the few medical practices that can bring a man almost completely defeated in Battle or ravaged by time back to life. It was pioneered by Renowned Caster/Engineer Lionel Vecker during the Wul Rebellion. He theorized that only a mind was required for life and hypothezed that in the case of total body shut-down or "Death" all the body would need is a kick-start. He had plenty of chances to test during the war and plenty of willing and retroactively willing. The procedure would consist of rebuilding the body, normally a much heavier durable body to deal with the additional hard-ware the process would entail, such as lying down the new magite alloy nerves. Then implanting magnite-alloy bolts and a Lightning Caster to induce the shock that would revive the patient. The necessarity of Magite-Alloys superconductive properties is what makes this procedure normally reserved for people of some importance or elite shock troopers. One of the the kinks still not worked out of the procedure is that still patients suffer from 20-80% memory loss. You wont see any Veckerates in Elleyon, The Church thinks that those who are dead, should remain dead, and that they are a symbol of the Wulian Rebellion as well.
