I miss Vector. It's only been about two weeks, but something's missing out of the debate threads.

I miss sleep right now.  I decided to be an overachiever in my graduate robotics course and chose to program a sentry gun simulator a la Aliens.  And it's due tomorrow, and I didn't really start until yesterday.

Oh, and if you ever hear anyone ask why they have to learn trigonometry, tell them they might have to program a sentry gun simulator one day and they'll be glad they learned what arctangent is.

Wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't a graduate course, because that means that not only does it have to work, it has to find something novel and scientific.  Yeah, not coming up with a lot there.

Word. 'sbeen going on for nearly a month now. Maybe I should visit a doctor or something.

I also miss being able to get full marks on my tests without having to study for them.

What happended with Vector? The only thing i remember is that he/she gave me an ass spanking for accidently linking maternal alchoholism with autism.. Seemed like he/she would have been a fantastic friend.

Several things happened: She was feeling stressed from her high work load at school. She met a dude that was interesting. She felt like she needed to make a few changes.

Dunno if/when she is coming back. But its not necessarily a bad thing for her.

That magical time in my childhood when Resse's Peanut Butter Cups didn't stick to the wrapper, and neither did gum.

A simpler time when games were more about being artistic, creative, and funny; rather than appease to the masses by being dumbed down in difficulty and creativity, and artistry (see the horrors of the latest Age of Empires game) and is just about easier all around. On the plus side, at least indie games are keeping up with tradition.

On the plus side, at least I am getting positive reviews from my nephew bout the old games being more fun from time to time. Wait until he gets the patience to start playing games like Civilization and such. He'll love those games.

I also miss the simpler times of childhood where friends were easier to make, and friendships were easy enough to manage just by hanging out during recess and lunch. Hell, in that regard, I miss the good ol' days where recess existed purely for fun.

Also, I miss the smells back home. Sure, living in an area with a large amount of pine trees and with a buncha snow every now and again sure smells lovely, but I miss the fresh grass smell wafting through my window back home after the gardeners come by. And the way the back room smells on cold mornings/nights.

Mario 64 magic healing water. It seems now-a-days water in video games is a evil deadly force, and not a magic pool of saving your ass.
