Things you miss really, really badly
« on: November 28, 2011, 11:24:54 pm »

So yeah, post things you miss.

I had to make the thread because I remembered Toonami and am now sad. I miss the time of cartoonnetwork with the good shows and TOM-3...

I am sad that Illiad no longer updates UserFriendly. I am currently bingeing the archive up till the point where he stopped.

I am sad because of what I did to my Lego constructions: Disassemble and Misplace.

I even had the manuals on how to make the figures. I just lost most everything that I could use to build them again D:

Old "Mike and Ike's". The ones that were manufactured by Mars- they were my favorite candy, then Mars sold them to Just Born who made them totally different.

My best friend. He's having computer troubles and I don't know when he's gonna be back.

And I'm literally finding no enjoyment in anything in the time he's been gone.

I miss this old can of pringles.

That can, your hand could fit in with no problems, and it was quite large, therefore, there was more to eat.

I miss being able to change quickly. Nowadays it takes quite a bit longer than it used to.

There comes a time when you must take off the soft, furry slippers of a boy and put on the shoes of a man.
Unless of course they don't fit properly and your feet blister up like bubble wrap.
Oh ho ho, but don't try to return the shoes, because they won't take them back once you've worn them.
Especially if that fat pig Tony is at the desk.

RPGs like Baldur's Gate II. They just don't make them that awesome anymore. The closest approximation is Dragon Age, and it's far from the same.

The webcomic Digger.

Turn Signals on a Land Raider.

That cereal from the late '90s that looked like little slices of french toast and tasted like syrup. I forget the name.

Yes, very yes.  I miss a lot of the cartoons from this era, like Sonic the Hedgehog, ReBoot, Swatkats, Tail Spin, the list goes on.

Why can't they make decent cartoons these days?  My Little Pony is nice, yes, but it's aimed at a totally different demographic and I like it for different reasons.
