I believe it is a bug.

Reclaims tend to result in weird things happening with items and buildings, so I just avoid reclaiming altogether.  When you generate a world, create a backup of the save folder somewhere and replace it when you want to start over.

The "tasked items get stuck on reclaim" bug was supposed to be fixed.

I suspect daggaz was using the [k] cursor rather than the [t] cursor - the former will only show items that are sitting on the ground (beneath the wagon), while the latter will show items stored inside the wagon (as well as the logs from which it was constructed).

indeed, i was using k as i did not know about t.  well, at least i learned how to regen my world from seed.  go !dwarfscience!
