Let's Play KotOR2 (with restored content mod)
« on: November 28, 2011, 07:40:06 am »

Since I like The Sith Lords so much, I've finally decided to start a LP of it. I am using the Restored Content Modification in order to provide more possibilities to the story.

Now, before I start, I'd like to ask whomever is reading this what class (guardian/sentinel/consular) should I go with, if I should go light, dark or (try to) stay neutral and, most importantly, how should my character act.

Guardian, neutral. Try to keep the balance intact, not leaning towards good or evil.

I second guardian, dual-wielding lightsabers and wrecking things.

*has fond memories of the endgame... mostly through superior lightsabering*

Dark Consular. Embrace the EEEVIL.

Going to start playing now, Guardian. I'll try to stick to neutral, but if that's not possible I'll go down the dark side.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
Now I'm hearing voices, too.

The voices aren't telling you to tell people to jump into pits are they?

Man, this game would be 10 times awesomer if the droid was the main character.

Noo, you didn't do the beginning supplies exploit!

anyway, I'm looking forward to this LP. I have KOTOR 2 on the original Xbox, but the Xbox broke after I was (very nearly) done with my first char.

Maybe it's parasitic. It never loses its flavor because you eventually die from having your nutrients stolen by it.

I have never actually beat KOTOR 1. Every time, on the starforge, I get to this room where there's infinitely spawning droids and you have to target some consoles and hack them, to turn the droids off. But I can't target the consoles!

Anyway, KOTOR good. I have them both on Xbox, I wonder if it's worth re-purchasing on the PC just for mods...

Buying KotOR 1 for PC if you already have it for the Xbox is up to you, but it's worth buying KotOR 2 for the RCM

I'm actually gonna say skip lightsabers. They just really aren't very good compared to duel stun-guns at point blank with all the nice perks.

You'll get to a point in the game where you have to go in a cantina filled with gas that is poisonous to you. You'll have to do as the story dictates and aquire a suit, but you don't actually need it.

what really bugs me in that part is that everyone says you need an enviromental suit to survive there... but you can just use a gas mask and wander around.

I should be doing a new update monday
