Linguistics is less root then mathematics and philosophy.  Anything that isn't in a self contained chain will lead you to mathematics or philosophy and they lead to each other.

Well yeah, but what I mean is, there were so many links to Jesus-related things that weren't His main page that looking through them all got boring fast.

Actually, Maniac - Philosophy (f you're going by first link, not including disambiguations and IPA) has a two page loop of it's own - Philosophy > Existence > Philosophy

Huh.  Well give it a few days and it will probably stop being in such a small loop again.  This stuff tends to change from time to time.  It was in a loop with mathematics for several months IIRC.
