Added myself too. Put down two primaries, since I produce a lot of both cement and lumber. With steel as secondary.

My train is down to 2 days 17 hours thanks to my constant factory upgrades. I tripled my factory production so far, and I'm still constantly upgrading them.

Still working up my building materials production as well. I'm up to 100k lumber,122k cement, and 4.4k steel. The plan is to ship train loads of raw materials to less developed neighbors in order to let them build up faster. I'm hoping to be able to ship a couple train loads of raw materials a day without slowing down my own upgrade progress.

Upgrades are starting to come slower and slower though, heh. Some of these are taking like 16+ hours each now.

Is that an hour?

Yup, hence the plan of sending train loads to people (train holds 500k).

Although if this vanishing materials problem keeps hitting me im not sure if it'll work out. I just tried sending Andrea some more cement and lumber to test it again, and not 5 minutes after I sent them I happened to check and the amount was cut in half. Last time I think it cut it in half several times. If I sent 500k materials and only 125k arrives, it would suck.

I think most of us are in the north, but with the amount of player we have there its hard to tell. I´m not sure if there are any unclaimed provinces left though

When we are politically active, will the president give out unclaimed provinces to active players?

Added myself to the spreadsheet. After a while, I'll field the Scottish Horse Regiment, and then occasionally crank out Home Guard garrisons to be sent to the major cities and coastal forts to free up infantry for overseas use. Up around 5k research points (sadly, research points are measured per day rather than per hour). Vehicle Engine II should be ready in about 5 days.

Any that it lets me. But apparently we can only give provinces that are in the right pool, and getting them in the pool is tricky. All the starter ones are in the new player pool, and I don't think we can move them except by someone joining as them and either conquering them afterward (something we could do with the inactive provinces that are all over England and Scotland) or giving them up to the pool (something that I believe requires possession of 2 or more provinces, meaning we would need to conquer provinces from some other country and "trade" them to the new player pool for the ones we want). It's kinda a crummy system imo, be much easier if we could just take them out.

Home guard kinda suck. They're slow and do measly damage. Population is an important resource in this game, and wasting them on crummy home guard is probably a bad idea. I'd say go with at least regular infantry, if not one of the specialized units like marines, paratroopers, or cavalry.

Can't you just invade me, add it to the pool, I join the province next to it and give my old province back? This is kinda roundabout and probably cheating the system.

Technically yes, but it takes 3 days to take over a province. You might be able to rereg as the other province during the invasion period though, not sure.

Oh dear seems like the google spread sheet is crashing firefox for me.

If some one could play as Ras Gharib (egypt) that would be great.

Is it just me or is not a lot of people actually devoting any building slots to Science Labs?

I mean my measly 3x10lvl Science labs apparently makes me the most advanced research center in the entirety of southern England.  I would think that research would be rather important. Heh.

Perhaps someone who is manufacturing units can check this?

No, Uniforms are not included in the "Kit" The province that forms the unit (From the kits) has to supply the Manpower, Food, uniforms and cash.  So if you want to raise 5000 of your men into to the army you have to have 5000 Uniforms on hand. (I don't think you can send troops into battle naked)

Thanks.  I have shipped a small amount of '1934 Infantry' and equivilent starting artillery to Nevyn to check the transport side, and so far that seems to work.

Okay, so we should all produce a small amount of uniforms, food and cash?

And ammo too or course.
