If i switch provinces, will my old province still produce resources?
I think so, yes. Iirc there was someone swapping the province and discovering 60k stuff.
I still have not decided on what to build, anything we need?

Until we capture land. with jungles we are in great need of a deicated Rubber producing province. Personally, not every one needs to be pumping out units right now. We ned the mats to begin that and going solo may not be wise. Please look around at your neighbours and see if you cqn work with themm in producing something together. For example I have contacted my northen neighbour and asked if he could specialize in rubber and perhaps fuel if he is reading this. That would free space for me to produce more steel for ship construction. I counted and I have more coastline and if possible I would like to make us of it. also currently bringing my sawmills down from 20 to 15 to give me more shipyards and steel factories. I would ask the othe for help but they look to be an inactive land grab.

I've got six or seven jungle hexes. I'm willing to go full rubber, but I'm pretty far south of Britain. I'm not sure how economical it would be...

Alge.. Algeb... Gibraltar.

It's far. As of now, I've only got five lvl 5 rubber farms. Only about 5k rubber. Will go full boar, scrapping the wood mills I had on the rub farms now.

I am Nevyn's northern neighbour, and I have begun setting myself up for rubber.  Fuel would make a sensible addition too.  Anyone concentrating on infantry is going to find population an issue.  It may be something that we all need to contribute towards.

Do I understand correctly that elections only take place after we become active?  If not, do we need to start voting for Paul?

Election happens in two days. You should vot efor Paul now.

Funk: Selling units? WTF? I'm not selling my units! We're in there together, I'm not here to make money out of my countrymen!

Nah, I'll give them away of course, but priority go to coastal provinces, especially those on the south coast of England.

Should Paul appear as an option though?

Or do I just search for him?

Found him, and voted.

Well, I'd like one unit then.

As for ressources, I could always do with more rubber, but I don't think everybody's in my case.

I am working towards becoming a rubber producer, but I've only started and it's slow going.

Nevyn is closest and has first dibs, but maybe I can ramp up production eventually.

On a side note, infantry production needs population, so perhaps we all manufacture infantry, or someone sends the required manufactured goods to each of us who then use our own pop to produce units.  Might be more efficient that way.

I wonder if can you seize an enemy's undeployed armament after taking their province. Wiki says you can prevent them from deploying anything if you have the city under your control, that's where the province's warehouse is. I guess there would be some conflict regarding supplying/reinforcing/upgrading armies that rely on foreign tech, but the idea of commanding a panzer brigade against the krauts sounds plainly irresistible. Heck, just think the level of depth it would add to the game if we could form seemingly "rogue" units with seized equipment/uniforms and partake
in false flag operations.

Is that even possible? Sounds too good to be true.

I think so: in the transport window there is the option to move 1000 infantry and 100 artillery we all start with.  These are not actual units yet, but the weapons for them.  You still need to recruit the actual unit, this drops the materials and population to create a unit.

It appears that you might be manufacturing the weapons and kit, but still need the people to form a unit, which would make sense.  Then you cam ship the weapons around the country to form units on different places.  Bears some relation to how things happen in RL too.

Unfortunately I have been able to decider the wiki well enough to be sure.  I will have a try tonight, see if I can ship some stuff to someone else.
