Those are 83k on the page. You'd need some serious building capability to make them too.

Hefill has 8800 construction capacity for that, so if he's getting equal penalties to me it'd be something like 30 days to build the first one. He has some pretty good construction capacity too, that's 11 level 20 shipyards.

I believe he's building submarines though.

With specialization and stuff I'm almost wondering if it would be smart idea to organize people into into different roles...

Like: Person A does Infantry, Person B does Artillery, Person C does Medium tanks, and so on, then we trade units and such amongst each other.

I wonder though, is efficiency shared amongst different units? I mean if I make 500 Infantry would the efficiency gains from this spill over into Miltia, Marines, and Mountain Infantry? Maybe even Motorized and Mechanized Infantry?

There should after all be a bit of spill over amongst everything, if you make a lot of Artillery then it wouldn't be hard to regear your production to make other types of guns, hell it should be easier to make tanks if you already can make the guns for them.

Yea, it wouldn't be a bad idea. Since I'm building this train I guess I can be our train guy, lol.

I was wanting to go into trains, railway artillery, and possibly other artillery types.

I'll be getting a big boost tomorrow, my level 15 city upgrade will be done in 9 hours. So tomorrow when I log in I'll be able to complete the level 15 city mission, which gives 5,000 population. That's a very nice mission bonus, and will let me do some major upgrades to my infrastructure thanks to all the extra workers. Lack of workers has been the main thing holding me back lately.

I think they spill as this wiki page puts certain units into categories.

http://stratisimperia.com/wiki/index.php/Production_line_experience

That actually talks about production line experience. It seems to be saying that the maximum penalty is 5x the production points, with the minimum build time being 1/5 the production points. I'm not really clear on how it's taking so long to produce things at <1 (5x) unless the factory production works in some different way and isn't hourly.

None of the ingame results make any sense. 5x would be 15625 for a train, but the displayed value when trying to build one was showing 14k. Maybe it's factoring in the gain in points as time goes on?

But then how does the 554 production turn into 17 days 16 hours for something that takes about 14k production points? At first I thought maybe it was daily production, but that would take 25 days. Then I thought maybe the 1/5 was what was shown on the unit details, but that would only be 25x for 0 experience instead of 75x and I should have a build time of around 6 days instead.

I really don't get how it's calculated.

Can I take over a friendly neighboring province that is not controlled by a player?

You need to wait till we are fully started, we need to be diplomatically active before we can do things like that...

Technically, you will choose to quit the country, attack the province you wish to claim, then sue for peace, which we should accept and then after 3 days you ask to rejoin and then 3 days more your British again... :P I think.... ^_^;

Well, I will keep my current province then and after 21 days I shall conquer my neighbors.

Looks like it'll be a race between me building my train and the country making a major technological breakthrough in vehicle engines. Scientists vs Factory Workers, who will be victorious?

And thats something that only takes 3.1k points. I was wanting to some day build a railway artillery unit. 125k points. That should only take around nine and a half million construction points. Even with 10 times my current construction points that'd take over 70 days. With my current production it's simply >year heh.

To be fair, the British 18-inch railway guns *did* take over a year to build in RL. And the Schwerer Gustav took 7 years total development and 4 years construction, although that's an extreme example.

right now we can build a 9.2inch railway gun, Heavy Gustaf was 800mm(31inch)
thats it next to a tank.
it had bigger shells, 11 tons! that Hitler didnt want to miss so thay where never used.
dito the rocket shells that would of given it a range of 150 km.

i whant to build Landkreuzer P. 1500 Monster,Gustaf on a tank
