Speaking of roads, how is the speed modifier applied in relation to the terrain speed modifiers?

Is it additive, or multiplicative?

For example, a swamp has a -60% speed penalty for trucks. A level 10 road adds 50% speed. Would the road's bonus add to the swamp's bonus and reduce the penalty to -10%, or multiply with the bonus and make it -40%?

Also, another question :
I'm in a province of USSR, which clearly isn't near a border...
I also have no neighbor, and it is getting quite boring...
Is there a mean to get in relation with other people (other than what you are thinking, pervert....) ?

Uniforms seem like their gonna be a major constraint for army building, since the weaver's shop only seems to only increase production by one each level.

so i should start building tracks down to the ones comeing up?
how do to message people?,just down the coast there is some that is not upgrading there buildings.

as for any army i say a small paratroop wing.
can any one work out how much cement wood and steel it will take to build a ring of defences a round the south east.

im thinking: a few subs off the coast, bunkers out of small ship range, then AA guns with fights covering gaps.
a few rail guns can be use as bait/monster cannon on wheels.

Cavalry
have some good points
are cheaper is both rubber and steel than Line infantry and Militia,(vasty so with infantry 100S/25R vs 26S/13R)
faster 10 vs 5/4
use less production points 87 vs 100
uses no fuel.

bad points 6 hours to make vs 4,needs a horse.
vs the saveing in steel, rubber and fuel, the cost of a few farms on the planes is a good price.
horse farms are a lot cheaper than Refinerys, a level 10 horse fram cost, Planks 7000  and  Cement 7000
a Refinery Planks 21000,Cement  49000 and 350 Steel.
that is before the oil and rubber.

@Paul: Speed and combat bonuses are additive. So bonus -60% from terrain and +50% from roads gives -10%.
@tompliss: In account window there is a filter which can show all the players from your country. You can use magnifying glass to find them. If there is no one... it is better to wait a while, play alone (which can be borring) or change the nation.

I'm getting that error pop up too, I think it means there is a server problem.

Edit:

Yeah after screwing around with a translator its basically:

"A Problem occurred with the server connection, please restart the game."

There's nothing stopping you from building a farm somewhere other than plains. Do you have any swamps?

For our army, I think we should go for a navy and air force first. If they can't get to the isles, theu can't invade us. And even if they do manage to land some troops, we can prevent them from sending reinforcement and cut their isolated troops to pieces.

I'm thinking of going naval myself. For the next 10 days, I'll only do cement and planks, then 5 days of steel (plus some more cement and plank), 5 days of other industries and 10 days of shipbuilding. By the time we are activated, I should have a few ships to protect GB.
