If i remember correctly they were used once, at the siege of Sewastopol.
With great success too, bust open one ammo stockpile. (Lucky for us goblins dont use this kind of tools ^^)

As for the whole point things, I did the math. The 3.1 k points needed for a train are the hourly rate needed for construction in 2 days. Time 16 hours time 5 because of the malus, we've got something like 248 000 production points.

On a sadder note, I was entirely too optimistic about my shipbuilding capacity. The first destroyer will demand 7,000,000 points or so.

That would come up with 19 days and something with my setup though, instead of 17.

Although I bet thats what it it, it probably just calculates for gaining a little experience as time goes on or something.

Wow, I just noticed how wrong the makers were in the Estonia section. They put Narva to the east of lake Pskov, while actually it is to the west, Lake Pskov is split between Estonia and Russia.

So here I am, signed up to the north coast of Scotland, in Achfarrie.  I am slowly working my way through the missions to build up the province.  Coast = ships, or do we have enough of that?

I'm probably just going to go Infantry production, I'll see how it goes though, still have a lot of resource production to ramp up.

Currently I'm trying to turn Manchester into some sort of transport hub, for troops and resources. Of course, I'll have to produce a lot of road, railways, trucks and trains first.

Guys? I just had the most glorious idea about how to shaft big countries like China/the US/the USSR.

Those countries are going to be mostly empty space, enven when they activate. Much too big for conventional warfare however, the supply lines would hurt like hell.

But if we take let's say 2 or 3 units of cavalry, we can take a province, re-equip our cavalry, dump the province into the pool and move to the next one!

Even funnier (but a tad slower), each of these province got the equipment for a unit of infantry. We can just equip the infantry with each province we take, and have a huge, slumbering horde of infantry growing as we advance!

Paul, could I ask for a train? I can send you the ressources (once I get the train hopefully, so that I don't have to pay tons of fuel).

From what I can see, either USEC or Paul should build tanks or artillery (USEC, you can still be a transport hub, you just need loads of petrol and buy your stuff from Paul). Also, one of the shipmakers should turn to aircrafts. I can do that if you want.

Thirdly, I do not have the time to be a fully-fledged foreign ministers, but I'd like to be an ambassador still. (Several people can get the same ministry, and one person can hold several ministry.)

My plans are the following:
1) Get the rest of the Empire to ally with us (So South Africa, Canada, NZ, Australia).
2) Negociate with Spain so that we can keep Gibraltar, offering help against France or a landing in Northern Spain.
3) Convince Belgium to let us use their ports as a stepping stone inside Europe.
4)Ally with Greece. I mean, those guys kick asses.

Fourthly, I think it may be a good idea to have Vice-Roy for certain parts of the world. They would have both War Minister and Interior Minister prerogatives, but would only be allowed to use them inside their area.
